Hello and welcome!
Thanks for popping by - I guess you've figured out that I love all things vintage and sparkly and so have combined the two, handcrafting unique headpieces from carefully selected antique and vintage jewellery, millinery flowers and feathers.
Each piece of jewellery is meticulously cleaned so it shines once more and combined with vintage and freshwater pearls, Swarovski and Czech crystal and interesting vintage finds helps me create beautiful one of a kind headpieces, combs and pins so you can be sure that no other bride will be wearing the same on one of the most important days of your life.
In addition to making one of a kind headpieces I design contemporary hair accessories using modern components. I stock a selection of beautiful antique wax tiaras, and fabulous vintage accessories. I also have a large, ever changing collection of wonderful, authentic vintage bridal gowns; each one carefully selected for their uniqueness and beauty.
I hope you like what you see ...

5 out of 5 starsWhat a beautiful item. The seller was great and the shipping was very fast from the UK. I am very excited about having this gorgeous belt buckle on the dress my friend is sewing for me for the Avalon Ball on Catalina Island.

5 out of 5 starsThe dress is absolutely gorgeous, the condition is wonderful and measurements were spot on. The shipment came in quickly, and the seller was kind enough to reimburse part of the shipping cost as it came in under expected. I would highly recommend purchasing from SixpennyBride!

5 out of 5 starsSeller was really helpful, delivery good and the dress is lovely. Bigger than I thought it would be and I'm having it altered, but that's the nature of buying this kind of item online.

5 out of 5 starsThis crown is even more beautiful in person! I've made a number of purchases from Jacky in the past year, including a custom crown for my wedding in May. Her attention to detail and the overall craftsmanship of each piece is unmatched. This crown was a surprise for a friend (for her wedding!) and she cried when she opened it. You really can't take your eyes off the sparkly! I'm going to have to come up with more fancy places to go, so I can wear Jacky's pieces all the time!

Shop policies
All the items you see in my shop are antique or vintage or handmade by me.. The handmade vintage headpieces are all one off designs made with love by me in my home studio so once it's gone, it's gone!.
I also make a limited number of contemporary headpieces and hair accessories.
I use vintage and sometimes antique jewellery, buttons, vintage millinery flowers and interesting finds when making each vintage headpiece so please be aware that occasionaly they may have some minor tarnish or a little gem missing, but all the jewellery will be clean and such minor imperfections will not detract from the overall beauty and uniqueness of each piece.
All the wedding dresses and accessories you see are authentic vintage or antique - not retro/reproductions so will have some history, but are nonetheless beautiful, clean and completely wearable.
Whilst I do accept returns on vintage wedding dresses and accessories, I don’t accept returns of antique and wax tiaras, earrings and bespoke/customised orders. Returned items must be sent back in their original packaging within 7 days of receiving them. You are responsible for paying return postage. For more details please refer to information on returns and cancellations.
I appreciate that buying such an important item on line can be daunting, but I'm here to help so please ask to see more photos and ask as many questions as you feel necessary to help you make your purchase.
Dress measurements are always taken with the dress laid on a flat surface and one side only, so please double the measurements to calculate the width.
If you're unsure of your measurements I'd suggest you take a dress that fits you well (not too tight) and compare it's measurements to the dress that you are interested in purchasing.
I recommend that you are 1 inch smaller than the dress you wish to purchase as some dresses do not have any zipper or button openings - it is always easier to take a dress in than to let it out.
I do my best to photograph and describe items to clearly show any flaws, and I welcome any queries you may have. I always send more photos if required so please just shout out as I want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase.
Lastly, you won't find items like mine on the high street as they are all unique and are either made by me or at least 45 years old so you can be sure that no one else will be wearing the same dress or accessory as you ❤️
