Announcement    Welcome to my ski art shop! Here you'll find a variety of functional ski art for the home (coat racks, bottle openers, bookends, etc.) created from rescued skis/ski poles/snowboards. I hand-craft every item in my shop near Seattle, so you can be certain that you have a unique art piece.

Be sure to look around and peruse all the photos from each item's gallery. I make sure that every art piece I sell has a photo so that you know exactly what you are purchasing.

Custom-orders are the same price as regular items, so if you have a particular color/brand of ski, let me know - I can mock up an example and send photos before you place your order.

Check back often because I'm always adding more versions of existing art pieces and creating new art as well. (I update the photos for each listing to to show new models as they become available.)

Meanwhile, if you are looking for a good adirondack chair made from old skis, check out Cascade Ski Furniture https://www.etsy.com/shop/CascadeSkiFurniture

If you'd like to recycle your ski equipment, please contact me (brian@geppert.us) and I can arrange to find a new use for your planks & poles. (Or visit recycling.skiartistry.com)

Had fun making this shorty coat rack for Jodie. Turned out so well I decided to do the same with the other ski from the pair. Such great colors in this Kazama.

Made this for Steven's Pass from their old skis that adorned their Bullstooth restaurant. Toe bindings for handles. Wrist straps from ski poles to prevent it from opening too wide.

I'm very excited about these vintage Head 360s as bookends! Recall that Head made the first metal skis in the 1950s. This is the next model from the 1960s. Check out the toe bindings.

I learned to ski when I turned 40 - a late bloomer. It became my favorite hobby - one I'd like to enjoy year-round. So if I can't be skiing, the next best thing is to be making functional art with skis.

She makes vinyl stickers of the highest quality, mostly for use in the classroom but I use the stickers as house number on old skis.

Frequently asked questions
Wholesale availability

Prices depend on quantity so if you have a large order, please contact me for pricing.

Do you ship to Canada and Europe?

Yes - but I need to calculate your shipping costs. Etsy forced shops to offer free shipping so I disabled the foreign option because those shipping costs are often quite large.

Can I get a lower price?

Possibly if you want me to calculate the shipping costs instead of providing "free" shipping. Etsy coerced shops to offer free shipping so I had to bump the prices to compensate - that unfairly penalizes buyers on the West Coast that are closer to my shop. (Etsy was burying search results for shops that did not offer free shipping.)
