"Add Life to Your Dead Collection!"

Since its inception in 2008, Love and Bones has created individual, custom, hand crafted items and paintings, to thousands of satisfied customers from all over North, Central, and South America. We even sold our good spirits to the rest of the world from our production line of clothing and accessories through our partnership with Zazzle.

Today, we have changed our name to Bone Garden Curiosa... and we love it!

It has always been our motivation to give back to communities in need (The St. Bernard Project making a real difference in rebuilding communities in the Gulf is a great place to start) – especially those hardest hit by hurricanes and other disasters, natural or man-made (like hurricane Katrina or the British Petroleum oil spill) in the Gulf and around the world. More than charity, we believe it is every individual’s responsibility to his or her fellow brothers and sisters and all life, to be stewards of Mother Earth – Always vigilant – in times of struggle and otherwise.

“Love what you do and do what you love. Don’t listen to anyone else who tells you not to do it. You do what you want, what you love. Imagination should be the center of your life.”
― Ray Bradbury

Like the man said, “Love what you do and do what you love.”

You always know when you’re swimming upstream… Against the currents. How? You’re never really happy where you are! Does that mean that you never make money? That you never own a home or a great car? Wear expensive clothing or have the “things” that others covet?

It’s more along the lines of feeling that there is always something missing… Having less satisfaction, even if you have those “things”, life just doesn’t have that sense of fulfillment.

The Day of the Dead… Dia de los Muertos… Honoring the ones you love and celebrating their time here, their teachings and their lessons. Finding that place in your heart to see that every life is worthy and worthwhile. This means everything. This is love, and this… This is what Love and Bones is all about. Yes we have fun. We make silly images and fun charms. We craft voodoo dolls and rosaries. We even make it so your outdoor birds find a place they can call home.

None of this will change the world. However, it can make some of us, in this world, a little bit happier.

Creation happens here. Fun and celebration, a sense of accomplishment happens here. At the Bone Garden Curiosa Art and Design Studio, love happens here. So, it’s all worthwhile.

Thank you for coming. Thank you for joining and sharing in the creation.

Returns and exchanges
Returns are accepted as long as the return is initiated within 5 business days of the buyer receiving their order. The buyer can either exchange their item for an item of the same cost, or return it for a refund. Shipping charges are non refundable.

Product should be returned in the same condition as it was sent.
Shipping charges for any returned item(s) are the customer's responsibility.

If your item is damaged in transit:
Please rest assured that I pack all items with the utmost care, however, in the event something arrives damaged - please contact us immediately and we will replace the item. Please send an email with photographs of the damaged item and the shipping box.

I am here to serve you and if you do have any comments regarding our products or service we welcome hearing them from you via message.

Please leave us 5 perfect stars if you are satisfied with your product(s). If you are dissatisfied, please contact me first. My goal is 100% satisfaction and I am not happy until you are completely satisfied!

Please note: Refunds will not be issued for custom items fabricated to the buyer's specifications. The buyer is responsible for all additional shipping charges associated with any return, unless the item is being returned as a result of a mistake on my behalf.
Payment due at time of order. We prefer PayPal but also accept most major credit cards through Etsy. Orders will go into production once payment is processed.
Orders typically take 5 business days to produce. They will be shipped via USPS and usually take 1-3 days to arrive, once the item has been shipped. Shipments outside the US will take longer due to international customs.

For international orders, please be aware of your country's import taxes, as they may require you to pay an extra fee to receive the package. We don't have any control over these fees, and are not responsible for any extra fees incurred.

All shipments are insured through either U-PIC or USPS. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged during shipping, we ask that you contact us through e-mail or Etsy, and include pictures of the damaged item, and packaging. This will allow us to file a claim with the insurer. In most cases we will send a replacement of the same item.

Care Instructions

In the event that your item breaks due to accidental misuse or dropping, you can use household superglue (or, in some case, wood glue) to repair it. Avoid touching the glue with bare skin.

In the event that your item becomes dirty, dabbing the surface with a piece of tape will remove lint or other grime on the surface. Do not use duct tape. If the model is stained, you can attempt to clean it with warm water and clear dish soap on a damp cloth - NOT directly. Colored dish soap may stain the surface.

NOTE: In our opinion, a little dirt makes everything look a little more weathered and better ; )

If you wish to seal the item to prevent staining, most clear spray finishes will adhere to the surface. Avoid sprays that warn of “yellowing” with age.
