For unique, eclectic ceramics, check out my many new designs including Yunomi tea bowls, horses, amphibians, birds, seahorses, mermaids, ink bottle holders, goblets, and other surprises all in beautiful glazes. I have been making my original, iconic cephalopod (squid, octopus) mugs since around 2007. Every piece is made with great attention to detail, from making the forms, sculpting the additions, refining, hand painting and glazing. These are not "Just" mugs or jars, they are functional works of art that will last many decades with proper care.
Thank you for your past purchases and kind words. Your feedback on Etsy is appreciated. Pottery is heavy, so please consider the cost of Priority shipping ONE mug averages from about $11-15 in the U.S., more to the west coast. For more info on shipping, please read below.
I am happy to answer questions or send additional photos, and I really appreciate your Etsy review on purchases. Prices vary, depending upon size, complexity of the piece, and the glaze. I use recycled materials like shredded junk mail and previously used packaging for shipping to be as eco-friendly as possible, and I pack with great care. I no longer offer returns or exchanges, due to the fact that most folks will not pack as carefully as I do, and it is costly.
Therefore, please consider carefully before buying, and read the reviews from past customers.
NOTE: I can only do holds or reserves on items for 24 hours, due to limited availability and high demand. Sorry, due to new, complex and odious 2022 rules,
I CAN NO LONGER SHIP to Germany.
SHIPPING: If you are out of the U.S.A. and don't find a SHIPPING OPTION listed, please send me a convo message and I'll give you a shipping cost. Keep in mind that pottery is heavy- one mug with packaging generally weighs at least 2 to 4 lbs. Larger or multiple pieces are more. Multiple pieces may be shipped in more than one box. There is a 4 lb. limit for USPS regular mail before the cost jumps a lot. For a shipping option OTHER than Priority Mail, (safest and insured,) check the choices and you should be able to choose a different one, or MESSAGE me BEFORE buying for options like snail mail.
Sorry, due to new 2022 rules, I CAN NO LONGER SHIP to Germany. Thank You!

Art is my gift, my safety net, and my joy.
Someone told me about Etsy. First I became a member, just to buy great hand-made items and find inspiration.
I took an 8-year break from pottery until 2022- not so much by choice, but because of a major move. I am so happy to get back to creating with clay again! It all started back in 2007 when I made a couple of specialty squid/octopus mugs for my daughter and her friend, and decided to post a few on Etsy. I suddenly had more and more requests and the shop was off and running. I have expanded the offerings to include many more themes and inventive designs.
I have a studio in my home, and there's always something new in the works! When I look back at how many pieces I've sold on Etsy, I'm actually quite stunned. People always like to ask, "How long did this piece take to make?" My answer, "About 45 years," which is true!
I have enjoyed connecting with other artists here, and appreciate the many talented and creative people who are finding markets for their work on ETSY. The world is truly our marketplace here- I have sent pieces to many countries since the shop opened in 2008.

Nature-lover, Tree-Hugger, still have a sense of wonder at the diversity and beauty of life on this dear planet. I hope my art inspires, comforts and adds a touch of joy- like a warm mug that feels good in your hand. Be well, be kind.
