A Fashion Conduit From Past to Future

Fashion is a universal means of storytelling; each vintage garment a piece of somebody's past with a tale to tell. Slimewarp Vintage acts a conduit through which these artifacts can pass on their journey to the next chapter.

I am a collector by nature and nurture. Some of my earliest memories are of antiquing with my parents, and while I might not have appreciated it at the time, the seed was planted. By the time I was a teenager, I was thrifting the majority of my wardrobe, and my love of treasure hunting was growing. As i grew, so did my collection of vintage clothing, and It became clear by my mid 20's that I needed to start sorting through and purging my closets.
I began selling a few pieces here and there, and realized I quite enjoyed the process of researching a piece, photographing it, and passing it on to a new owner. I slowly got more and more into the selling process, and learned a lot as I went. In 2015, I decided to dedicate myself to selling online full time, and Slimewarp Vintage was born!
I studied art and film in college, so the idea of running a business with no help and no training was frankly a bit terrifying. I had never felt so passionate about a job, or so excited at the idea of working, and those feelings far outweighed my fears and lack of experience in business. I am learning and growing every day, as is my shop and my knowledge of vintage fashion and fashion history.
My ultimate goal is to share the pieces I find with people all over the world who share an appreciation of and love for vintage fashion. I will never stop doing what I love, and feel so fortunate to be able to run Slimewarp Vintage.

Returns and exchange details
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please send me a message so we can find a solution together.


All Items are carefully inspected before being packaged and shipped to ensure the piece you ordered is in the condition noted in the item's description.

If you receive your order and the *packaging* is damaged, take photographs of the packaging as it was received, as well as any damage to the piece itself. This is necessary in order to file a claim with the postal service. You must provide the above photographs and comply with all requests for information as a part of the claims process if you wish to be refunded for the item and/or shipping costs. Failure to do so forfeits your request for a refund.

If you receive an item that is not as described, please send me a message as soon as you receive the piece. In order to refund your purchase price, you must send photos of the damage/inaccuracy and photos of the original packaging to me within the timeframe stated above (within 14 days of delivery). Once approved for a return, you must ship the item back to me using the same or better method of shipping (priority must return via priority, etc) as was used to ship your order originally. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Once I receive the item back, you will be refunded your original item purchase price, less shipping fees.

All other return inquires are handled on a case by case basis. Unfortunately, I do not accept returns for issues regarding sizing or fit, unless the measurements I provided are grossly inaccurate.

General Return Instructions - ship the item back via the same shipping method used to send it to you (if it arrived via priority mail with insurance, you must return it the same way) and you must include tracking. If you fail to include tracking, and the item never makes it back to me, there is no way to verify that it was shipped and no way to to file a claim with the postal service, and I am unable to refund your purchase. You are responsible for paying return shipping costs. Once I get the item back and verify that it has not been worn and is in the condition it was when I sent it to you, I will issue a refund less a 15% restocking fee.


**EU CUSTOMERS**
Customers in the EU who wish to return an eligible purchase must contact me within 14 days of delivery.
You must send unused goods back to me within 14 days of first contacting me regarding the return.
You must pay all return shipping costs and fees, and you must include tracking as proof of sending.
Once the item is back in my possession, and I have examined it to make sure it is unused and in the condition which it was sent out, I will refund your original purchase price and shipping to original payment method. You will not be compensated for return shipping or related fees. You will not be compensated for any customs or VAT charges you may have paid upon initial delivery.
Payment
Etsy Payments accepts all major credit cards and paypal payments.
Shipping
Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. Items are shipped to the address provided, as shown on receipt. Please make sure your info is up to date. All orders within the US will have tracking, available to view in your purchase history.

Transit time varies based on destination and shipping method. Most domestic orders (within the US) arrive 2-10 days after shipping. This timeframe is an estimate, and not a guarantee, as the postal service is out of my control. International orders can take anywhere from 2-12 weeks to arrive after being shipped.

I am more than happy to help if you need your order by a specific date. Please message before you purchase to make sure we can fulfill your request, and so shipping prices can be updated.

--International Buyers VAT, Customs and Import fees--
You as the buyer are responsible for paying any VAT, customs and import charges. These are fees imposed by your government on imported goods. By law, I cannot pay them, they are your responsibility.

Due to recent changes Etsy has made in their verbiage, there may be some confusion. Your VAT fees are NOT included in your purchase price, they will be assessed and collected by your country before you pick up your item.

Packages returned to me due to unpaid customs fees will have original price refunded. Shipping cannot be refunded, as that goes directly to the post office who will not refund any shipping costs in these situations.

We do our best to accommodate shipping related requests made AFTER you already place your order (including notes in order details), but these changes are NOT garunteed. It is up to the customer to contact before purchase.

Items that are Returned to Sender (me) will be charged a new shipping fee if you wish to have attempt re-delivery.

I accept returns of most items (intimates/lingerie are not eligible). Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition they were sent. To initiate return:

1. Contact me within 14 days of delivery (confirmed w/tracking #)
2. Once approved, send the item back to address provided within 21 days. You MUST include tracking with your return, failing to do so voids refund guarantee. If tracking is not provided, and the item is lost in transit, you will not be refunded.
3. Once I receive the item & confirm that it has not been worn and is in original condition, the item price will be refunded to original payment method. Shippping is non-refundable, and return shipping must be paid by customer.
