Fall in love with Hand Embroidery

Hi and thanks for stopping by at my shop! My name is Miriam and I'm a designer and embroidery artist. I create modern embroidery patterns and embroidery kits.
I found embroidery to be the perfect creative outlet and I've been embroidering almost every day since I discovered this lovely craft.

Hand embroidery is a great meditative practise that really helps me calm my mind whenever I need it. I hope that it can do the same for you in those uncertain times. I invite you to slow down, get cosy and enjoy the calming practice of embroidery!

Everything is run by me and my cat Naja, so please allow a couple of days to process your order, we're doing the best we can!

Frequently asked questions
I’m a beginner. Will I be able to embroider this pattern?

All the tutorials for my patterns and kits are written with beginners in mind and have step by step instructions with photos. The designs themselves use a variety of different stitches so previous experience with embroidery will help, but I've seen complete beginners embroidering them and they did an amazing job!

If you're a beginner you can check out my Instagram highlights, where I share videos of how to make the basic stitches that are used in most of my patterns:
Part 1: www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17848169578973442/
Part 2: www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17874638656610872/
(They're also explained with photos in the instructions, but videos are always easier to understand ;)
You can use those video tutorials as help!

I’d love to try this pattern, but I’m not sure which fabric and supplies to get.

I explain which supplies are needed at the beginning of every pattern instruction! I also have a series of lessons on my Instagram, where I explain in detail how to choose the best supplies for embroidery:
https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17863989208758837/

You can also get a kit instead of the pattern. It has all the necessary supplies to complete the embroidery that I tested and use every day.
You can shop the kits here:
