Siempre me ha encantado trabajar con mis manos. Hay una foto, cuando probablemente tenía unos tres años, de mí "cortando" el cabello de mi hermano. Mirar hacia atrás en esa imagen es genial porque terminé convirtiéndome en un estilista. Trabajé en la industria durante más de 10 años y me encantó.

Luego, en un torbellino de 8 años, conocí y me casé con mi esposo, tuve cuatro hijos y me mudé 5 veces, incluida una gran mudanza a Kentucky. Queríamos que me quedara en casa una vez que tuviéramos hijos, así que renuncié a mi carrera, felizmente, y he estado ocupado disfrutando de la vida con ellos desde entonces.

Cuando tuve mi primer bebé, recibí una manta de ganchillo hecha a mano de la tía de mi esposo. Fue mi regalo favorito que recibí. A partir de entonces, quise intentar aprender a hacer ganchillo. Pensé que podría hacer mantas como regalos y terminaría así.

Avanzando unos años, finalmente obtuve mi primera aguja de ganchillo y busqué en línea instrucciones sobre cómo hacer ganchillo. Terminé aprendiendo flores primero, que uno de mis amigos vio en mi hija y dijo: "¡Podrías venderlas!" Así que pensé, ¿por qué no intentarlo? Me han inspirado mis hijos y mi hogar. Me encanta hacer cosas que pondría en mis hijos o que tendría en mi casa. He pasado de las flores a los sombreros, botas, mantas, suéteres, bufandas y amores. Me encanta el reto de probar cosas nuevas.

¡Me encanta poder usar mis manos para crear de nuevo! Y he tenido una experiencia maravillosa aquí en Etsy. Gracias a todos los que habéis apoyado mi negocio. Ha sido un gran viaje. :)

I have always loved working with my hands. There is a picture, back when I was probably about three years old, of me "cutting" my brother's hair. Looking back at that picture is kind of cool because I ended up becoming a hairstylist. I worked in the industry for over 10 years and I absolutely loved it.

Then in a whirlwind 8 years I met and married my husband, had four children, and moved 5 times including one big move to Kentucky. We wanted to have me stay home once we had children, so I gave up my career, happily, and I have been busy enjoying life with them ever since.

When I had my first baby, I received a handmade crochet blanket from my husband's aunt. It was my favorite gift that I received. From then, I wanted to try to learn how to crochet. I thought I could make blankets as gifts and it would end at that.

Fast forward a few years, I finally got my first crochet needle and looked online for instructions on how to crochet. I ended up learning flowers first, which one of my friends saw on my daughter and said "You could sell those!" So I thought, why not try. I have been inspired by my children and home. I love to make things that I would put on my children or have in my home. I have moved on from flowers to hats, boots, blankets, sweaters, scarves, and lovies. I love the challenge of trying new things.

I love being able to use my hands to create again! And I have had such a wonderful experience here on Etsy. Thank you to all of you that have supported my business. It has been a great journey. :)
