I started with something small, then my imagination got the best of me!

The monsters started with a simple, octopus-eqsue looking thing all in one color. I thought he was really cute, so I made a few more. Before I knew it, I had so many ideas my hands couldn't keep up. Now I crochet monsters daily to keep up with orders from friends and family. I thought, "Hey, everyone else seems to find some joy in these little guys, maybe Etsy will, too."

Each monster starts with an idea and is then made singularly. There are no monster assembly lines here – you can trust that every monster will be just a little (or a lot) different from the last and that each detail receives the level of attention it deserves.

If you haven't yet, please "like" the Facebook page! I started the facebook page mainly so that those who adopt a monster of their very own can post photos of them traveling with their new companions. I would love to see where they all make it in the world!

I started making these little monsters for fun, mostly because I thought they were cute. Then everyone else seemed to want one. Now I'm here!

Thanks for checking out my Smooshie Farms Monsters! I hope you find something you like... Of course, if you're looking for something special, I happily accept special requests. Feel free to send me a message with your wish list; requests are $15 per monster (not including shipping costs).

Many monsters are made only once, however, there are several styles that have proven to be really popular so they will periodically be relisted. If your monster looks slightly different than the photograph, that is because it was made especially for you. Please use your discretion if you're purchasing a monster for a child under 12 years of age. These products have not been tested to certify child safety. However, if you would like to order a monster without plastic eyes just contact me. I am happy to substitute yarn eyes for safety eyes.

Additional policies and FAQs
Please do not request any adult or sexual monster themes; the Smooshie Farms Monsters are meant to be appropriate for all audiences.

If you're unsure if you should purchase a Monster because it seems a little more expensive compared to its size, I have this to say to you: Each stitch is made with love and attention; it takes time to make each Monster and I simply don't have a "Monster assembly line." Each monster is born from an idea and is full of intention and purpose.
