Returns and exchanges
Upon receipt of the yarn, if it was as described, but not exactly what you had hoped for, you may return it within one week of when you received it via the same method it was sent (typically first class insured). The yarn must be in its original condition and not rewound, knit up, etc. When I receive the items back, I will issue a refund for the cost of the yarn.
Snicklefritz Yarns accepts payment through paypal. California residents will be charged the applicable sales tax. Paypal doesn't always do this automatically, so I will send it as a separate "invoice" if necessary.
I charge actual shipping costs. I will adjust shipping costs up or down to reflect actual amount used, particularly when multiple items are purchased or if you would like to select priority or express mail or purchase extra services such as a tracking number.

We ship by first class mail with insurance. If you choose to waive the fees for these services, Snicklefritz Yarns will not be held liable if the package is lost in the mail. Insurance is mandatory for purchases over $100 and for hand-knit items. Larger orders will be shipped UPS ground if it is more economically feasible to do so.
If you see an item you would like to purchase but you are out of town, please let us know and we can make arrangements for a specific shipping date once payment has been received. We generally ship packages within 1-2 days from when we receive your payment. However, we travel occasionally and will alert you if we are at a show at the time you place an order.
