Mom is loving building new outfits around her wardrobe of chemo hats and scarves. We tried a couple of hats from Amazon, but she loves these so much more.

A hint of sparkle! One of my friends saw my mom wearing her scarf the other day and texted me to tell me that she was "rocking it!"

My aunt absolutely loved her cap! It helped her get over the anxiety to shave her hair off. Thank you so much for your kindness during a difficult time. May you be blessed!!!

About

See a need , fill a need

I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer a few weeks before my 37th birthday. During chemo I tried making my own headwear from commercial patterns, but I found them to be too complicated. After I recovered from treatment I made a simple pattern for pre-tied headscarf and started donating the scarves to the hospital I received my treatment at. I was left with a lot of fabric scraps from making the scarves. I am very frugal and was raised by "waste not want not" motto. So I figured out how to make simple hats from the scraps. By the end of '17 I will have donated 400 headcoverings. Your purchase will help me get more materials for the headcoverings I donate.
