Announcement   You can find out more about me on my blog: http://snowdayartist.blogspot.com/
Do you remember waking up to a Snow-Day? The day is yours... your imagination is set free... this is the world I like to hang out in.

I am an artist and elementary school Visual Arts teacher, K-8. I paint and design knitting patterns in my 'free time' - thus the reason I call myself 'Snow-Day Artist'. Summertime finds me in my studio and gardens.

I love my studio. It is in a 200 year old farm house on the bank of a small river in Maine. I have chickens, flowers, gardens, and I spend way too much time staring out the window watching the little river go by.

My designs are unique and colorful. Color inspires my work.
My knitting patterns are easy to follow and come with many helpful photos.

As a painter, my work is realistic. I focus on nature, and the quirky side of life. My intention is to add beauty, fun, and inspiration to your home. My art prints are here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/GenevieveKeller?ref=si_shop

You can feel confident when making a purchase from either of my Etsy shops. You will receive quick delivery in packaging that is neat, and ready to give as a gift or enjoy yourself! My knitting, patterns, and art prints are always created with top-notch craftsmanship.

About

Knitting Needles and Yarn on a rural farm...

I am a life-long creative being. I love color and usually there is a playful or quirky element in what I make. I am close to nature. I live on a small farm in Maine. I have gardens, a few chickens, and a lovely view of a small river from my farmhouse studio.

Truth: I love to design and knit mittens. I also love to wear mittens.
Mittens are the perfect size project, I go everywhere with a pair in my bag: meetings, car rides, trips. I see my knitting as 'artful engineering', or 'functional sculpture'.
My craftsmanship is always top-notch.

I teach Visual Arts to 300 elementary school students during the school year.

I am also a painter. Here is my Etsy Shop for my prints:
