It is not just a yarn. It is much much more.

I (re)discovered yarn and fiber arts for myself not too long ago, actually in spring of 2014, when I was pregnant with my son. As an art teacher, I have always been creative also after work hours, so our house has usually been filled with half finished canvas, bazillion of art supplies and easels. This has changed a little during that time, and I started a slow transition to the fiber arts - even though I have not completely departed from the previous mediums.
I see blank undyed yarn as a huge potential. As an open door to something new, unexpected. Also, I see it as a nature's gift to me: I feel that it somehow indirectly dictates by itself how it will look and behave and what it wants to be. I have a huge respect and maybe a little fear every time I am about to apply dye on the blank yarn: this is delicate material, it has to be treated with respect and lot of care and patience, to bring out the desired colors and shape.
I find my inspiration basically anywhere. Whether I see a colorful photograph, random corner down the street or even when I just close my eyes, sometimes I get sort of a 'flash back' - the ones filled with certain colors and shapes and I know I have to instantly write down what I just saw before I forget it.
I believe that yarn has some kind of healing and therapeutical powers. It helps me coping with everyday stress and some memories from past traumatic experience, and I am hoping to pass on strength of this medium on others.

My passion for fibers started not too long ago, in 2014. I (re)discovered the knitting - maybe within a month later I finished my first baby blanket. I was the 'artsy' person long before I touched the yarn. Outside of etsy I'm art education teacher.
