Sophia's Hammered Gold bracelet arrived on time. It is as beautiful "in person" as in the advertised image. She contacted me a number of times to be sure of my wrist measurements so it would fit just right. I appreciate that. The unique design is both feminine and strong, combining silk and metal. An Artist Making Useful and Wearable Goods

Hi, my name is Sophia Dixon Dillo and I am an artist working with light as a medium. I love all things shiny, so metal seemed to be a logical next step in my explorations. I've been making hand-cut and finished sterling silver, copper and brass jewelry. These pieces tie back to my artwork, emphasizing the natural undulations that come out of shapes that are drawn by hand.

Often when I go shopping, I have trouble finding things I really love, never quite what I am looking for... So I have put forth the challenge to myself to start making things I want to use and wear in my own daily life. My hope is that others will enjoy these explorations as much as I do!
