Patricia Silva graduated with honors from the Art Center of Tucson in 1995.
Her use of bold and bright colors in her creations reflects her love and admiration of her Hispanic heritage and culture. As a folklorico dancer in her youth, Patricia was introduced to the beauty of the many rich colors used in the embroidered costumes from various regions of Mexico, such as those from the state of Oaxaca, and the splendor of the deep, vibrant colors of the exquisite silk rebozos.
Patricia's husband of 22 years, Adam, is her loving partner who supports and helps create her magnificent art pieces. Patricia draws additional inspiration from the majestic desert skies and landscape of her hometown, Tucson, Arizona.
She has discovered that her own life experiences, both joyful and painful, have brought her to where she is today. Patricia is thankful for the gift that God has given her and humbled by each unique experience her art journey brings.
