My creations are all about light, color, texture and warmth. The ingredients to happiness.

I suffer from a form of depression that is made worse by the darker, colder months of the year. I do not take medication, or even vitamin D supplements to make my body soak in the missing sunlight, but I sew in bright colors. What I make reflects the brightness, and light, of Spring so that everything that surrounds me can act as my supplement.

It is about the colors, as well as the feeling. The tactile nature of my embroideries, painting, pleating, and other manipulation bring on memories of romps through the grass, being pulled by the current in the ocean, enjoying the heat of the sun on my skin, and being cooled by a soft breeze.

I hope to bring this light, and this sensation of pure enjoyment, to all those who purchase pieces from me.
