This policy explains what personal information I collect from buyers and visitors, why I collect it, how I use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to purchases made through SoloStackCreations on Etsy and to messages sent to me through Etsy.

1. Who I am
I am Craig, the owner and operator of SoloStackCreations on Etsy, based in New Zealand. You can reach me through the "Contact shop owner" button on my shop page.

2. Information I collect
When you place an order, Etsy shares the following with me:
- Your buyer name (and shop name, if you have one)
- The country your order is associated with, for tax purposes
- Order details: which products, quantities, dates, and order totals
- Any messages you send me through Etsy's messaging system

I do not see and do not store your full address, payment information, phone number, or government ID. Etsy handles all of that on its own systems.

3. Why I need this information and how I use it
I use the information above to:
- Fulfill your order (confirm what to deliver and to whom)
- Respond to your questions and customer support requests
- Comply with legal and tax obligations
- Send you a single follow-up message after delivery to confirm everything arrived

I do not use your information for advertising. I do not build a profile of you. I do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

4. Sharing your information
I share your information only with:
- Etsy, the platform that processes your order
- Tax authorities (New Zealand IRD or equivalent), when required by law
- A lawyer or regulator, if I am legally compelled

I do not use third-party email marketing services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks against your Etsy purchase data.

5. Data retention
I keep order records for 7 years to comply with New Zealand tax law. Messages are kept for as long as Etsy stores them. After that I delete information unless I am required to retain it.

6. International transfers
I am based in New Zealand. If you order from the EU, UK, US, or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored in New Zealand. By placing an order you consent to this transfer.

7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information I hold about you
- Correct it if it's wrong
- Ask me to delete it (where I'm not required to keep it for tax reasons)
- Restrict or object to certain uses
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

For New Zealand buyers, this shop complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. You may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you have concerns.

For EU/UK buyers (GDPR) and California buyers (CCPA), the same rights apply. I do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, message me through Etsy and I'll respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies and tracking
I do not run my own website outside Etsy and I do not place any tracking cookies. Etsy itself uses cookies on its platform; their policy is at etsy.com/legal/privacy.

9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I'll update the "Last updated" date and post the new version on my Etsy shop page.
