Announcement    I am inspire by the colors and the beauty of the tropics and I want to bring them to you through my jewelry.

This eco friendly jewelry is made from a palm tree seed called tagua nut also known as ivory vegetable which grows in the South American rain forest. The tagua nut palm is harvest in a way that it doesn't harm the tree in any way.

I also use acai berry seed which is also a palm tree that is found in the Amazons rain forest.

The tagua nut necklaces are light weigh, colorful and each seed is cut by hand and is different size and shape right from mother nature, making each piece unique and one of a kind.

If you return an item with free shipping, we will deduct the shipping and handling according to the price of each item.

About

I'm inspired by the colors of nature and the beauty of the tropics, and I want to bring them to you through my jewelry!

Nice to meet you,
I’m Marina

“Love for nature” I started SoloNut jewelry with this idea in mind and I am incredible happy to see it come to life through my jewelry.

I am thrilled that everyone who uses my tagua nut jewelry knows that they are getting a one of a kind organic piece of jewelry.

Before I created SoloNut jewelry, I wasn’t happy with my work, I was looking for something different and more meaningful in my life, and I wanted to make a difference.

Then one day my daughter brought me a piece of jewelry from her trip to the Amazons and everything changed.

I went back to my country of origin and started researching on the tagua nut and I was thrilled to see all the possibilities of this awesome seed.

It turns out the road was more difficult that I imagine!

The hardest part at the beginning was finding the right supplier. I had to make several trips to the Amazon’s so I could carefully select my supplies, not because they were the cheapest but because they met my requirements.

First and most important making sure there was no child labor. The shop that I’ve been working meets these criteria and most employees are single moms head of household. I’ve had with them a long-term relationship assuring them employment.

Next, I wasn’t sure what people thought about jewelry made with seeds so I started doing arts & crafts shows and to my surprise they loved it!

For the past five years I have been selling all of the unique pieces that I have created with this amazing eco-friendly seed to local boutiques, jewelry stores, and art and jewelry markets.

Beauty with responsibility to the community and the environment!
