SomethingFromNowhere is taking a short break

Note from shop owner It's a very exciting and busy time for me at the moment: I'm moving house, attending the birth of my sister's baby, and going on holiday to Mexico for a month! My shop will be on vacation until I'm back on home soil, so please drop by around mid November!

Art + Design + Travel = Something from Nowhere

I've always loved to make things with my hands and felt the need to document the world around me. Thankfully, my family have encouraged these compulsions in every way since childhood. As my mother likes to reminisce, if she hadn't insisted I create my own party hats as a young child from coloured crepe, gift wrap scraps and Clag paste, then I would not have become an artist at all!

Since then, I have formally studied both art and design, and believe that these worlds are intertwined. In my day job, I'm a colour and typography-loving graphic designer and in between I travel with my husband and make art. These are the constants in my life.

I look to my art as a documentation of both my inner and outer worlds – it is a way for me to figure out everything that transpires the two. I mainly do this through collage, photography, objects and various forms of printmaking.

I hope you enjoy looking at the works in my shop – which I was persuaded to open up by my sister (a long time travel companion and talented knitter!). If you are interested in reading more, I also have a journal and portfolio at

The artwork I share with you here is a result of small ongoing visual experimentations and enquiries into my relationship with the world. While these explorations are very personal, I hope that the themes and aesthetics are relatable and enjoyable for everyone. I believe once my artwork is sent out into the world it takes on a life of its own!

Returns and exchanges
Once the item is shipped, I regretfully do not accept exchanges or refunds for ‘change of mind’.

Please note that all computer screen monitors vary and can slightly vary the cast of an image.

Once I have very carefully packaged your print and sent it on its way, any mishandling or loss in transit is the responsibility of Australia Post. I recommend adding a ‘peace of mind’ shipping option to help deal with Australia Post claims should the situation ever arise.
These archival quality giclee prints are made to order after full payment is received and cleared.
I do not place prints on hold as they are made to order. Simply message me if you can't see the print you are after and I will re-list it for you.
If you see an artwork on my website – – that is not listed here, feel free to enquire about ordering a print made.
I use a very reputable professional printer and this usually takes 5 - 6 business days. I therefore aim to send your item within 6 business days. I will send you a message once shipped.

Shipping quoted for within Australia is by standard domestic ‘Parcel Post’, which usually takes between 3 - 5 days depending on your location within Australia.

International delivery is by airmail and can take anywhere between 1 - 6 weeks depending on the destination country and time of year.

Please double check that your shipping address provided to Esty is correct. If your print is returned to me because you do not have the correct address listed, you will be required to pay the full postage costs for the resending of your item.

I am happy to send it faster via ‘Express Post’, or for peace of mind options add ‘Extra Cover’ postal insurance or ‘Signature on Delivery’ or 'Tracking'. Just contact me prior to purchase so I can quote you and add in the additional cost to the existing postage rate.

If you are buying more than one print, combined shipping is possible and may reduce postage costs significantly. Contact me so I can check the weight with the post office and get a quote for you.

To save on postage, you are more than welcome to pick up your print personally (I am located in Sydney's Inner West, not far from Newtown). Just contact me before making your purchase so I can remove the shipping charge from the listing and make arrangements for you to drop by.
