About

From corporate world to mom world.

After graduating college, I worked in the corporate world for a few different companies, until I became a stay-at-home mom. I am now a homeschooling mom to my two kids and we all enjoy that immensely.
I was introduced to crafting by my grandmother when I was a little kid. It started with L'il Missy dolls and just took off from there. When I was a teenager, my mom taught me how to sew and I've been sewing off and on since then. After having kids I took up sewing again, for Halloween costumes and summer clothes mostly. Now that my daughter is into the American Girl dolls, I've come to really enjoy making doll clothes for her and her friends. Currently I make clothes for the 18 inch American Girls as well as the Bitty Babies and Bitty Twins. Some of my favorite things to make are beanbag chairs and backpacks scaled to fit the dolls.
As a busy homeschooling mom, I don't always have time to keep my shop completely full, but I choose patterns and fabrics, pin, cut, and sew all the items myself in my smoke-free home during my "me" time.

I have been sewing since I was a teenager and I have always loved dolls. Sewing doll clothes is a great way to combine the two!

Thanks for visiting Song of Hope at Etsy.

After graduating college, I worked in the corporate world for a few different companies, until I became a stay-at-home mom. I have been homeschooling my kids for the past 7 years and enjoy that quite a bit.

As a homeschooling mom, I run my shop as a hobby business. It gives me the flexibility to create all different types of things, including a lot of fun accessories for the dolls. My current favorite items are beanbag chairs and sleeping bags. :)
