Incredible little amp, well-built is an understatement, super clean and clear sound, great distortion, adjustable gain, no hiss or noise and plenty of volume, couldn't ask for more in a headphone amp with distortion. Thank you!!!

About

The Big Orange Workbench has logged nine Oregon Locations

The Big Orange Work Bench has been set up in nine different Oregon locations, since 1977. Life proves to be more unstable than most would believe.
Sore-Throat Guitar Headphone Amps were born in Keizer, Oregon, in 1987, in a modest garage shop.
A bigger, double-car garage size shop produced amps for Portland Saturday Market.
The largest work shop was in Dallas, Oregon, on a beautiful acre of land. At 1560 square feet with all concrete floors, scissor trusses, and custom rooms, it were a dream come true.
Then the bad economy happened, real estate was lost, and off went the Big Orange Work Bench to a storage facility.

A smaller orange bench from the source was set up in a smaller shop, and the headphone amps were listed on Etsy. A few more years of slave labor was parlayed into a nice garage shop in West Salem.
The Big Orange Work Bench has it 's sites and dreams on a big ,new shop in the near future. Now, it is cluttered with strange-looking parts for the NEW SpiralCone Space antennas. These are very portable and durable, like the 'ol headphone amps, and are making their own history.
