Additional policies and FAQs
Sterling Silver will naturally tarnish when left in the open air. It is best kept in a closed container such as a small zip lock bag or jewelry box. When your silver starts to tarnish, mix up some tooth paste in a small container with enough water for it to be a thin paste. Let the piece soak in it overnight. Then scrub it with an old toothbrush. Or, use a polishing cloth.
About Natural Stones (Moonstones & Labradorite):
Gemstones are made by nature, under millions of years of pressure and stress to become beautiful pieces of natural art. Some gemstone have natural inclusions, little crack like lines inside the stone. For many stones such as Moonstones or Labradorite this is completely normal and in most cases adds to the luster and flash that you see when looking at them in the light. In addition, all the stones are one of a kind and will all have unique color displays. Moonstones can have a blue iridescent blue flash or a rainbow sheen and labradorite can have a blue or green flash base which will change in different light from cobalt blue to a golden green.
About Sea Glass:
All of the sea glass used in my pieces are genuine sea/beach tumbled pieces. I do not use a rock tumbler. I often reshape the stone to make it easier to mount is silver but never retouch the top glass that shows through the piece. Some of the glass if found by myself or my husband on the beaches of Florida. Other sea glass, especially the multi-colored glass is purchased from sea glass enthusiasts who find the glass on the beaches of Northern England. A lot of time and love goes into finding thee pieces. They are quite special, every one of them.
