Could not be happier with my purchase. The tools in this book has already increased traffic to my shop in very little time. I have purchased other books and this one has been my favorite and is full of great info! Even though my shop is not a wreath shop, everything in the book was applicable. I downloaded this to my tablet and was able to make notes highlight, etc. and will be referring back to it as my shop grows. You have a raving fan! Thank you!

About

I always choose quality over quantity...

I grew up with a father who owned art galleries throughout the Charlotte area. He taught me how to work hard but most importantly to produce quality work. You see when you provide a quality product; your customers will always come back to you and repeat customers are always the best customers! He also instilled in me how important passion and conviction for any job should always be the basis for its growth. After working for him year after year, my taste for beautiful art and quality interior design grew into a passion. It's because of him that I always choose quality over quantity!

After the economic downturn in 2008, I tried to return to corporate life after being a stay-at-home mom for many years but when I realized this may be impossible, I decided to turn my God-given talent of wreath making into supplemental income for my family. It has truly been a lifesaver! I've always had a knack for floral designing. When I was young I could go into retail stores and see floral arrangements and then go back home and duplicate them. My parents were always amazed at this. I started designing beautiful wreaths for my door as a hobby several years ago. Since then I've received a lot of positive comments from neighbors and friends. Soon they wanted me to make them wreaths and that is how I caught the wreath making bug.

When I first started selling wreaths on Etsy almost ten years ago, there was very little competition. I realized I could not keep up with supply and demand. I decided then I would start to teach others how to make wreaths through my ebooks and ecourses. Now looking back over the years, I've inspired thousands to start their own businesses. I truly know I am doing what the Lord wants me to do especially when women express to me how I have helped them find their confidence and given them the courage to start their Etsy businesses and are now succeeding!

Since I work from home, I pray every day that I can juggle business and family life--as a southern girl, I know a little prayer can't hurt anyone! So please check my shop frequently (or even better, "heart" my shop so it will show in your activity feed) because with family life happening in the next room, I tend to list new wreaths sporadically with some weeks listing 10 and other weeks only listing a few.

Frequently asked questions

How do I order a wreath that I don't see in your shop anymore?

If you don't see a wreath in my shop anymore it is because it has been sold. You can contact me and I will check to see if I have the supplies to remake a wreath similar to the one you want. It won't be the exact wreath you saw, but it will be very close if not better.

What materials are used and how strong are your wreaths?

I use good quality materials made to last. All of my wreaths are very neat and professional. I take care to clean up the back of the wreath and that it looks almost as good as the front. I try to cover all dried glue and exposed picks with either silk flower leaves or sheet moss. This helps give the wreath a more natural look. Most of my deco mesh wreaths are made on a sealed metal wire frame with floral stems that are both wired and hot glued into place. Because every wreath is handmade, I am able to secure every stem, nest, sign, etc. into the wreath individually. I use a lot of high temperature glue when structuring a wreath and in some cases; tie pieces in with wire.

Are your wreaths safe for outdoors?

The materials used in my wreaths are considered durable to moderate outdoor exposure. If hanging your wreath on an exterior door, I recommend hanging your wreath on a door that has a slight overhang. If you know of a big rain storm coming where there will be sheets of horizontal rain and a lot of wind, I suggest taking your wreath off the door until the storm passes. For light showers it should be fine. But as you know, over time the sun will fade a wreath, some flowers or mesh faster than others. But don't worry; your wreath should give you 3-4 seasons of enjoyment before that.

Sizing details

The sizes of my items are included in the description of the item. I measure each item before listing it in my Etsy shop. If you ever need to be absolute certain or need confirmation of size, please message me.

How do you Ship your Wreaths?

I use a sturdy corrugated box for shipping. Each wreath or lantern swag is wired into the box to ensure it will not move during shipment.

Why does shipping cost so much?

Flat rate shipping charges are to the lower 48 states and APO/IPO addresses only. Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii will be much more expensive, please contact me for a quote to these areas BEFORE buying. Due to wreath size, I do not combine shipping and I'm charged a dimensional weight of 38 pounds. Shipping can easily exceed $18.00 (especially to mid or western states); therefore, in these cases, SCW ends up paying the difference. I ship using FedEx, which seems to be the cheapest method right now, Monday – Friday which guarantees 2-5 business days and insurance is included. A physical RESIDENTIAL address is required to ship using FedEx.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping to the South & East coast is usually 2 business days, middle & northern states is usually 3-4 business days and shipping to the west coast is usually 4-5 business days...so plan your purchase carefully when trying to meet a deadline such as a holiday or birthday. Additionally, delivery can be delayed by the carrier due to inclement weather, which is out of our control.

Returns on Wreath Purchases?

All sales are final; however, we believe in our products and stand by them 100%. Since these are handmade items there could be a time when a wreath or item may have a defect. In that event, you may exchange your item in its original packaging only for another wreath of the same value or be refunded the full purchase amount. Refunds will not be completed until item is shipped back to SCW. You will need to contact SCW within 2 business days of the receipt of your item and to have a return shipment transaction generated.
