PROCESSING TIMES: All orders are shipped to arrive in a range of 1-3 weeks prior to event dates. If purchases are made 3-4 weeks prior to event dates your order will arrive in a range of 5-9 days prior due to our minimum of 3 weeks for processing. A RUSH FEE is REQUIRED on ALL orders if there is less then 3 weeks for processing.

Label proofs will be sent within 7-11 BUSINESS days for your approval. A response is required within 48 hours of your label proof being sent for approval. Please make sure to check messages promptly so there is not a delay in processing your order. We reserve the right after 48 hours to make no additional changes to the proof sent.

If no label selection is made you will receive our standard Dotted Line label design and Thank You for the top hand stamped label design. We will contact you via your Etsy purchase to obtain the information needed to process your order. If we do not receive communication from you regarding the information needed we do reserve the right to cancel your purchase. You will receive a notice regarding the cancellation and you will need to re-purchase if you would like an order shipped.

DELIVERY NOTICE: Due to COVID1-19 the USPS and Fed Ex are experiencing delays in shipping as per their websites. Tracking information is sent via email when shipped. Unfortunately we do not have any control over the tracking updates or how fast the package arrives. We do request the tracking updates to be sent to each customer to ensure that you receive the information. We do ship the fastest way possible (normal delivery is 2-3 days) but know that things are a little different during this unprecedented time. Please know that the delivery times from the USPS and Fed Ex may be a little longer due to COVID-19. Your purchase is monitored until it is marked delivered.

As a small business who also relies on deliveries, we are doing our best to maintain our supplies needed for all orders. With Covid-19 we have experienced some delivery delays due to out of stock items and if need be will adjust our available inventory and flavor options. Currently 3.75oz jars have been removed due to out of stock with our supplier until late October. Our 4oz hexagon jars are ONLY available for HONEY due to low stock of jars. For jam favors we do have our 4oz Mason jars or 4oz Jam jars.

If your wedding/event is postponed or cancelled please contact us as soon as possible so that your favors are not processed and shipped. You may reschedule your shipment date or place on hold until a future date (even until 2022.) You may review our posted Cancellation Policies in our FAQ. There is no fee to place your order on hold for a future date (up to December 2022.) Our Refund/Cancellation Policy is listed in our FAQ and applies to all orders as noted. Orders may also be used for other future events and labels can be changed to accommodate a different celebration if needed. We realize this is a stressful and unprecedented time for each of us but know that this is a temporary situation and we pray that it will be quickly contained. COVID-19 CANCELLATION/POSTPONED EVENT DATE POLICY OPTIONS

1) Retain full credit and place order on hold until 2022. New event dates will be determined no later than 6 weeks prior to allow for processing and shipping. Your postponed order will be reprocessed at our expense and shipped to arrive about 1-3 weeks prior to your new event date to ensure freshness. Your already processed order will be either donated with biscuits to our local essential workers (local area hospitals, fire departments, police departments, delivery and grocery store workers) as a thank you, given to our local food bank/school food program to be used or thrown away after we cannot use the processed order. At our expense new supplies will be purchased to replace your already purchased/processed order to ensure that your to be determined new event date has fresh favors.

2) Retain full credit and have order shipped without a date on the label to be used for a future date. We know that celebrations will happen and when they do, they will be amazing. Having a celebration after a baby arrives or bridal/ wedding shower after the wedding is still a perfect way to celebrate with family and friends a joyous occasion. Processed orders "Spread the Love" freshness date is good for one year after your processing date (current processed orders are good until July 2021.)

3) Retain full credit and use favors for a future celebration such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Anniversary, 1st Birthday or any other celebration. Labels will be changed to fit the new theme. Favors may be shipped closer to your new celebration or shipped right away. If the new celebration date is more than 9 months away a new order will be processed at our expense to ensure the freshness of your favors.

4) Retain full credit and have original order shipped with generic labels so favors can be used for gifting.

5) We DO NOT accept returns, exchanges or cancellations AS NOTED on our Returns & Exchanges Policies of our shop but have added additional policies to accommodate this situation. Our CANCELLATION REFUND POLICY DOES APPLY TO ALL ORDERS as noted in our FAQ. You will receive a portion of your purchase refunded only as noted in our FAQ. Any refunds will be applied within 30 days after requesting and please allow 7-14 business days for the credit to appear on y our bankcard statement. To retain full credit please review our other options listed above.

6) We DO NOT accept returns, exchanges or cancellations AS NOTED on our Returns & Exchanges Policies of our shop but have added additional policies to accommodate the current situation. If your special day has been rescheduled we do ask for at least 6 weeks notice to process and ship your order. If the number of favors needed has changed to less than 50% of the original order a non-refundable Change FEE of $75 (this is a discounted fee as noted in our FAQ the fee is $85) will be added. If your order changes to less than half of your original purchase you will be refunded the difference less the $75 FEE. Changes must be made within 4 weeks of your event date and there will not be a refund of original purchase if changes are made after 4 weeks. The order will ship as purchased.

Rush Fees are REQUIRED for orders with less than 3 weeks processing this includes a Rush Fee and expedited shipping via Fed Ex.

Belle of the Ball Jar

With a love for cooking since the age of nine when I had my first dinner party (with grown up guests) I decided to keep those southern traditions alive. I remember my mother canning in the hot summer days while we were growing up. There is nothing like fresh from the farm! Tomatoes juicy and red, silver queen white corn right off the cob, peaches with sweet nectar, crisp okra ready to be fried and yellow squash as bright as the sun...yum! yum!

With memories of such great food and recipes shared for generations I decided as a southern woman I should "can" something. My first project was fresh strawberry jam with just picked berries from a local farmer. I soon began playing around with recipes and became addicted to canning! With excited anticipation waiting for the music of the cooling jars to bring back sweet memories.

I am pleased to share sweet treats from my southern kitchen. Making only small batches with fresh fruits, real sugar, no preservatives and love as sweet as tea! This bird is tickled pink to be back in the south and looking forward to the new journey.

I am blessed to be from the south and wouldn't trade it for all the gold in California. The good Lord has blessed me with a family filled with a loving husband, great children, a crazy farmer mother, the best in-laws ever, siblings I enjoy being around, aunts and uncles and lots of cousins and friends to share a wonderful sit down Sunday lunch on the ground.

Some of my family still call me by my childhood name and since canning is a precious memory of my childhood, Miss Shelley's Southern Jams & Jellies is a labor of love and honor for all the wonderful women in my life!

Placing an Order

Purchase one of our many listings or request a custom order. Orders are processed in a licensed commercial kitchen (Chattanooga, Tennessee) and approved by the TN Department of Agriculture.

Information Needed:

Names as wanted on the label
Date (event date if different from label date)
Quote (such as Spread the Love)
Additional information may be required

Emails are answered within 24 hours M-F and may take a little longer on the weekends. We do communicate via Etsy ONLY. Orders may require additional information after purchasing please check your Etsy convos for any updates. Label proofs are sent via Etsy communication within 7-9 BUSINESS days after purchasing. Not answering notes may delay the processing of your order.

Processing and Shipping of Your Favors

To ensure freshness of your perishable item we do ship so that favors arrive about 1-3 weeks prior to event dates. During peek wedding season June - November favors will ship to arrive about 1-2 weeks prior to event dates. To ensure you receive the freshest favors we do ship as close to each event date as possible.

We do require a minimum of 3-4 weeks processing time and during peek season processing times can be longer (6-8 weeks.) Please make sure you check our front page for updates on our calendar availability for each month. My calendar often fills up months in advance.

A RUSH FEE is required if needed in less than 3 weeks. Rush Fee does include expedited shipping via FedEx.

How Are My Favors Shipped

Shipping is mostly through flat rate Priority Mail boxes and can arrive Monday - Saturday. If your packages are not able to be delivered on a Saturday (example- business address is closed) your delivery will be re-scheduled to the next business day. We do use FedEx Home Delivery to ship our packages and delivery is Monday-Saturday. Keep in mind Postal Holidays due effect shipping and delivery days. When a Postal Holiday occurs packages are shipped/delivered the next business day.

Favors are wrapped in bubble wrap and cradled with packing peanuts to ensure your package arrives safely on your doorstep! All packages include insurance and tracking numbers. Tracking updates are sent directly from either the USPS or FedEx to your email address.

Incorrect Address Information/Returned Package

We are not responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect address. If returned due to incorrect address information we are not responsible for the second shipment. A new shipping fee is required to be reshipped.

We will ONLY reship your returned to sender original package once received. If we do not receive the package within 7 days of your event date a new order must be placed. You will receive a refund from the original purchase minus shipping and a personalization fee.

If you choose to not purchase a new order once we receive the original shipment a refund will be issued. The refund will be minus original shipping and personalization fee. The original package must be returned with no damages or missing items for any refunds.

Damages or Missing Items

If your order arrives with damages, missing items or there is an issue with your delivery you must contact us within 5 days of when your package is marked Delivered. After 5 days there will be no replacements or refunds. Proof of damages is required for any replacements or refunds. Clear pictures of damaged products and box shipped must be received prior to any replacements or refunds being issued. If the label has an issue such as a typo, replacement labels will be sent to correct this issue ONLY. All packages are insured and a claim will be made with the USPS or FedEx.

Theft /Missing Package After Marked Delivered

We are not responsible for packages after they have been delivered by the USPS or FedEx. Replacement orders can be purchased with expedited shipping at your expense. We are not responsible for theft after a package has been delivered.

If there has been an issue with your delivery you must contact us within 5 days of your package being marked delivered. A claim will be submitted to the USPS or FedEx to attempt a resolution to the delivery issue. Monitoring of packages stops when your purchase is marked DELIVERED. Additional information may be required to file a claim for delivery issues.

If you would like a signature confirmation for your package you may purchase this additional service with a small fee.

Special events happen all year but there are peek seasons and we do encourage placing your order early. We can only accommodate so many orders per month and during peek seasons often fill up months in advance.

Favors during peek season (August - November) will arrive 1-2 weeks prior to event dates. Keep in mind due to Covid-19 sometimes our supplies can be limited which can cause our shipping deadlines to be delayed. All orders will arrive prior to event dates. During peek season our processing time is 4 weeks.

I Need to Cancel/Change My Order

PERSONALIZED or SHIPPED items CANNOT be cancelled. Cancellation/Change Fees for ALL ORDERS below:

Cancel within 48 hours of purchasing - NO FEE
Cancel within 1-2 weeks of purchasing event date - $85 FEE
Cancel 6 weeks prior to event date- 50% of purchase returned
Cancel 4 weeks prior to event date - 20% of purchase returned
Cancel Less Then 4 weeks prior to event date - 10% of purchase returned
Change in Number of Jars Needed (more than 50%) - Non-Refundable Fee of $85

Orders may be postponed due to Covid-19 until December 2022. All CANCELLED orders are subject to the above fees. Postponed orders with quantity changes will incur a non-refundable FEE of $75 (see info in announcement page.)

We do offer discounts for larger orders and for Early Booking with our Pre-Order Deposit! Per jar discounts start at 100 jars and vary depending on the number of jars purchased. We do offer different sales each month for extra savings.

COVID-19 Cancellations/Postponed Event Dates. Please contact us for options for your order. If your wedding/event is cancelled or postponed please contact us as soon as possible so that your favors are not processed and shipped. You may reschedule your shipment date or place on hold for a future date (until 2022.) Our refund policy is listed in our FAQ section and applies on ALL Orders.
