From Southern California to the South
I am a wife, mother, and teacher. As long as I can remember I have loved making things; whether it's my family's weeknight dinner, or a creative lesson plan for my kiddos; creativity is a joyful outlet for me. I started this shop as on outlet for that feeling; I strive to create pretty things so that people can feel joy when looking at the handmade items. My shop’s primary focus is on hand lettered items because I love the look and feel hand-lettering. Being a new mother, I strive to create a business where I can be home with my baby girl and create beautiful items for people's special events in their lives; whether it's an invitation to their wedding, baby shower, or even signage for their kitchen or nursery, I want to create beautiful items that illustrate these life changing moments and capture their essence with love and warmth.
Lettering has been something I've been doing since I was in Elementary school. Other kids actually used to pay me for me to write their name on their binder and book covers. After becoming a teacher and writing on chalkboards and whiteboards every day, I began to add more flare than the average teacher to her classroom writings. After having my daughter Bennett and doing several custom lettering for my own wedding, as well as several friend's (save the dates, invitations, calligraphy, rsvp cards, escort cards, venue signage, favor details and more), I knew I wanted to share my love for custom printed goods by opening this shop.
I'd love to chat with you about any of my items or custom projects. Feel free to send me a convo via etsy or email me at allielloyd1 (at) gmail (dot) com. Thanks for stopping by the Southern Scribe!
