Announcement   Spache the Spatula is originally a food blog (http://www.spachethespatula.com) started by myself. After a few years, I realized not everyone wants to get in their kitchen and spend a lot of time while making a big ol' mess cooking up my recipes. I have created this Etsy shop so that whether or not you have a passion for baking, you can still try my baked goods :)!

I purchased these as a gift for my fiance and he loved them. I actually think he ate one for breakfast at one point. Supervision is required around these badboys.

If you're a fan of Ben and Jerry's (who isn't?), then you probably know about Late Night Snack- the ice cream with potato chips, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. These cookies take that idea to a whole new level. Usually cookies like these are tough or they fall apart easily because of the little bits of everything inside. Not these bad boys. They held together despite the milk dunking (and I drown my cookies), had great texture, and were great with every bite. I think my favorite part is that I could bite a different part of the cookie and get a different taste yet it all worked well together if I just ate it like a pig. Great stuff. Probably my favorite so far! P.S. I received an extra batch (!) because my order was delayed. That's amazing customer service because I didn't even complain!

Amazing. Perfectly moist and great with every bite. I'm not normally a huge fan of spices with my chocolate (I'm weird), but these just hit the spot. It was perfectly balanced, not too much from the cinnamon and just enough from the hazelnut. I was glad I shared them because otherwise I would have devoured them all by myself! It was a bigger hit than my chicken and that's usually everyone's favorite. ;) I served each brownie with a scoop of green tea ice cream and a cup of dark coffee. Milk works too of course :)

About

Bringing fresh and creative treats from my home, into yours!

My Etsy shop is an extension of my food blog, Spache the Spatula.

I discovered the food blogging community shortly after moving to Seattle (from the sunny Gulf coast of Florida) in the summer of 2008. I was overwhelmed by the amazingly fresh ingredients I had access to out here in the Pacific Northwest, and began looking up recipes online. This lead to a massive obsession with food blogs. At the end of 2009, I finally decided to start one of my own in order to keep track of all of the recipes that I made and created. This slowly blossomed into a deep love of cooking and baking, and the dream to open my very own bakery.

In early 2012, I finally took the next steps, and opened this Etsy shop where I can share a small sampling of my food with you!

I’m a 24-year-old full-time baker and blogger living in Seattle. I began selling here on Etsy in early 2012---the first step in bringing my dream of opening my own bakery into reality!
