Repurposed.....Redesigned....Resparkled
I’ve always loved jewelry and dabbled in making some pieces many years ago. Now that I’ve “grown up” – WAY up – I’ve found the desire to create resurfacing. I've started perusing estate sales and flea markets looking for old/antique/vintage buttons, keys, pins, earrings and truly unique items, such as hinges, belt buckles, lamp finials and curtain tie-backs to create new “shabby-chic”bracelets and pendants.
Because my jewelry typically includes older/antique/vintage pieces within the design, there is often wear, missing stones and/or other imperfections. To me, this adds to the history, uniqueness and character of the pieces and makes me love them that much more!
