Announcement   Jewelry should reflect who you are and how you are feeling on any given day. With that in mind we have created a line of unique, individualistic jewelry.

My name is Shannon Trapp and I have been designing jewelry since I was a thirteen. In the last twenty years I’ve learned a lot, changed with the trends, and dragged my mother, Peg Rosin, along for the ride. If we had been cave girls, we would have spent our time gazing in the creek at all the shiny rocks, saying, “Pretty, pretty,” as a prehistoric flying reptile swooped down and ate us. Lucky for us we were born in a time and place that allows us to spend our days playing with pearls and gemstones, saying, “Pretty, pretty,” without a prehistoric predator in sight.

We design our jewelry using the Viking stitch, knitting-in-the-round and wire wrap techniques. We use anti-tarnish wire that is nickel as well as lead free and coated with hypoallergenic enamel or ultra flexible wire that is nylon coated. The colors of both are rich and durable. Clasps and chains are sterling silver, silver and gold plate. On most pieces you can request a change of clasp if you wish. The embellishments are pearls, gemstones and faux bone. Our faux bone pieces have to be texturized, cut, colored and heated to form the designs you see here. Our rings and wire wrap bracelets are adjustable making them perfect for people who suffer from swollen joints as well as perfect gifts when you’re not sure of the size.

All of the work is done by the two of us with equal parts inspiration, frustration and finally joy when it comes together in a piece we know will resonate with someone—hopefully you. Jewelry isn’t just an accessory, it’s a statement.

This ring was so so much prettier than I even expected. It is made well, the metal is super shiny and the agate is a lighter purple and it's just gorgeous. I was excited to find an interesting ring that is nickel-free. I am gifting this to someone else and I'm super pumped for them to receive it!

Good communication; special order handled with complete professionalism; well packaged; timely shipping and arrival. Giftee couldn't be happier with the earrings: "They are more delicate, and prettier, than I was expecting. Love 'em!" Thank you!

About

We are a mother/daughter team that loves to work and play together!

With mass marketing creating similar products of throw-away quality we wanted more. Our love of the unique resulted in creating jewelry as a way to assert our individuality.

We began with simple chain and beads but soon were drawn to the viking stitch, spool knit, faux bone and wire wrapping because those techniques enabled us to turn our imagination loose.

The way we look at life is reflected in our jewlery. Our designs incorporate our love of color and form with a touch of spirituality, whimsy and humor, the three elements we feel are essential to not only survive life, but enjoy it.

We believe jewelery should make a statement about who you are and what you like, and that's what we strive for in our designs.
