Hi my name is Lyn,
I have been drawing, painting and crafting for as long as I can remember. I've never been very athletic, so when the other kids were playing team sports I was busy making something with whatever things were at hand; baskets out of tree leaves, sidewalk drawings with chalky rocks, or or sculpting with mud.

I am a college trained artist/art teacher with a minor in graphic designer. I started my Etsy business (Spectacular Printable) in 2009, after retirement from teaching art. At that time I created and sold of digital stamps and clip art for use by other creatives in their own arts and crafts.

A while back I put my shop on vacation so that I could spend time with my husband as he dealt with a serious health issue. That time away from Etsy gave me a lot of time for serious soul searching. What did I want to do with my art?

I'm happy to report that my husband has recovered and now I'm back to Etsy with new direction for my shop ...

Over the years I have found that my greatest delight comes from drawing and painting, especially watercolor painting. I love the playfulness, the magical dance with watercolors. The lack of total control, the happy accidents and the exciting outcomes of our play together!
