5 out of 5 starsVery good fabric glue easy clean up. But it does have a strong odor. Take safety precautions but otherwise great for gluing

5 out of 5 starsI have used Speed-Sew on two shirts. The repairs seem durable, and the adhesive dries as a clear substance that is not highly visible. I haven't washed the shirts yet, but it appears that the adhesive will hold up well through a washing.

Frequently asked questions
How to use Speed Sew?
Squeeze Speed-Sew onto a dish or hard surface. Spread using a toothpick or finger. For thicker material, apply to both surfaces. Press the two surfaces together. Hold or clamp firmly until dry.
Note: Avoid iron-on patches and squeezing glue directly onto fabric. Spot test when used on sheer or light fabrics.
How to remove Speed Sew?
Speed-Sew, like most glues, is not intended to be removed once applied. The best way to remove Speed-Sew is with water before it dries.
How to apply a patch?
To apply a patch, cut a piece of fabric larger than the hole and lay it on the underside of your garment. Apply Speed-Sew around the outside of the hole and on the back of the patch. Place the patch over the hole and press firmly, then let it dry for at least 30 minutes to ensure the glue has enough time to fully dry.
Does Speed Sew work on leather?
Speed-Sew can bond to the back side (soft inside) of leather.
Note: Speed Sew cannot bond to the outside (smooth side) of leather material as there are no pores that the fabric glue can adhere to.
How long does it take Speed Sew to dry?
Speed-Sew’s dry time depends on how much glue is applied. The thicker the application of Speed-Sew, the longer it takes to dry.
For a thicker application, allow Speed-Sew to dry for an hour or two, and for a thinner application, it should dry within 30 minutes.
