Good for You, Good for the Planet
We’re on a mission to rebel against the wasteful and unsustainable manufacturing processes that have become the norm by producing beautiful responsibly-produced personal care products using a zero waste approach and sharing what we learn along the way.
We're Aiming to Be As Sustainable as Possible
We go to great lengths to minimize the negative byproducts, waste and plastic use in our manufacturing process. Spiffy Rebel products are produced in our studio that is powered by renewable energy. Our products are vegan, 98% plastic-free and not tested on animals. Our soap is made without palm oil.
We have recently started shipping our products in boxes that are made from 100% recycled materials. Also, Etsy offsets the carbon emissions for every delivery so you can feel good about online shopping.
Our next goal is to use only packaging made from post-consumer recycling. While our soapboxes are made from recycled materials, we're working on finding the most sustainable labels we can find for our next batch.
We’re not perfect, but we're committed to continuing finding ways to improve.
We also believe in sharing what we learn. We teach community soap making classes and write about sustainability. We hope to educate consumers and inspire business leaders in order to create healthy products that are accessible for everyone and contribute to a better world.

How are traditional soaps and synthetic detergents different?
Ordinary soap is made by combining fats or oils and an alkali, such as lye.
