Welcome to Spilled Glitter, LLC! Each piece is either handpicked or created by me in St. Louis, MO. I love unique, feminine, whimsical designs, things that are easy to wear and will last a lifetime in your jewelry closet. I also accept custom invitation and jewelry orders for special events and occasions, and create one of a kind wedding, baby shower, party, anniversary, and birthday invitations.

STANDARD RETURN & REFUND POLICY

We want your experience with buying jewelry at Spilled Glitter to be great.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product delivery date. We take pride in offering quality jewelry and stand behind each item. Because our jewelry products are mostly handcrafted, you may see some slight irregularities in metal work and stones that are part of the uniqueness of the items made by hand, and should not be considered defective.

All sales are final 10 days following receipt of your order, and no returns or refunds are honored after that time.

If you would like a refund, please submit your request via Etsy email within 7 days of the delivery date and we will send you return instructions. Buyer pays return shipping. Upon receipt of the returned items, we will issue a refund for the cost of the items back to your original payment method. Refunds will not be accepted past 14 days of the original purchase date. Don’t forget to keep your order number handy! All shipping costs are not refundable.

If you need to make an exchange for a different item, please contact us.

Custom orders that require handmade items are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable with the exception of a manufacturing defect or if visual previewing is drastically different from the actual product as delivered. Online previewing is intended to represent how the final product will look, but subtle differences will occur.

Customers are responsible for all shipping on returns, unless the item arrived defected.

PRODUCT DEFECTS

If an item arrives defected, please contact us within 15 days of receipt, with a photo clearly showing the defect, and it will be replaced or refunded.

All defect replacements require a photo clearly showing the defective item prior to replacement. Returned items will be fixed or replaced with the same item. If the item is not available, we will replace it with an item of equal or lesser value, and the replacement item will be agreed upon prior to approval for replacement, or a refund will be issued.

Please contact us for return authorization. Individual beads are subject to change depending on availability.

Please note: This does not cover merchandise damaged through normal wear, accident or misuse (glass breakage due to mishandling, wearing in water, etc.). Upon receipt of your order, please check it carefully for accuracy.

Examples of manufacturing defects:

- Non-functional clasp
- Abnormal discolorations (beyond normal variations in natural stone colors or tarnishing from wear or time)
- Jump ring or chain link that is not closed properly
- Epoxy (adhesive - glass or crystals are loose)
- Cracked or damaged glass in your floating lockets (upon arrival of your items only)

GLASS CRACKS IN YOUR LOCKET

There are certain types of glass fractures that are evident based on the way the glass appears.
If your floating locket ARRIVES with the glass damaged, it qualifies for a return, replacement or full refund.

If you've worn your locket a few times, and noticed that it broke or cracked during wearing, this is considered damage caused by wear and tear, accident or misuse, and is not covered for return or replacement.

For any glass fractures in your locket, please contact us with a photo of the locket clearly showing the glass fracture, and an explanation of the situation. Some circumstances will allow for a partial refund or discount on replacement items. Please contact us with questions.

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

At this time, we do not offer price adjustments when items are placed on sale, and reserve the right to change our pricing at any time without notice.

Payment is due upon checkout and items will be shipped only after payment is made.

If there is a problem or you need more time, please message me on Etsy to let me know, and I will be glad to work with you if time requests are reasonable.

STANDARD SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Please allow 3-5 business days for us to process and ship your order. You will be notified via Etsy email when your order ships, and all orders will receive a USPS tracking number. All of our items are carefully packaged to avoid damage and ensure your item(s) arrive safely. Each item will be shipped in protective packaging, and may be wrapped in light Styrofoam or bubble wrap.

Faster shipping via USPS Priority 2 Day is available for orders shipped within the Continental United States. If you need faster shipping times for orders placed in Canada, Australia, Hawaii, Alaska or an APO, please contact us to calculate your custom shipping cost and arrange faster shipping. Priority 2 Day and First Class + Insurance shipping does not grantee faster processing times, it only increases the speed at which the USPS will ship your order or adds insurance to your order.

If you have a question regarding faster shipping, need an item at a specific time, or questions related to shipping during Holidays, please contact us.

Each item's shipping options clearly list the amount of time it will take to process and ship your item. If you require faster shipping, please contact us to make arrangements before placing your order.

Shipping is handled through USPS 3-5 Day First Class Mail, and we can usually get items into the mail 2-3 days after receiving an order.

You will be notified via Etsy email when your order ships, and all applicable tracking numbers will be included. USPS does not guarantee shipping times. The standard USPS 3-5 Day First Class Mail and 2 Day Priority delivery times are out of our control, however we will do our best to get your package on it's way to you in a reasonable amount of time.

PLEASE be sure to double check your shipping address when entering your information. Spilled Glitter is not responsible for packages delivered to the wrong address. If the item's USPS Tracking is marked "delivered" to the address provided during checkout, we are not responsible for any orders that are missing or cannot be found. Spilled Glitter will not be held responsible for stolen items left on door steps, at office reception desks, or inside mailboxes.

If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will reach out to you via Etsy email. You are responsible for the additional shipping charge to re-send your items. If you do not respond within 5 business days, your order will be refunded minus the cost of shipping.

International buyers: We combine shipping on multiple purchases to save you money and refund any over charges. Buyers are responsible for any and all customs/duty fees, VAT or associated charges. Spilled Glitter does not collect these fees from buyers, and cannot pay these fees on the buyer's behalf.

How Do I Track My Order Status?:
Each order is sent using United States Postal Service. You will receive a tracking number when your order is shipped. To track the order using the tracking number, simply copy and paste the tracking number onto the USPS.com website.

LOST PACKAGES:

Spilled Glitter is not responsible for lost packages after they have been shipped.

If your item was lost in the mail or you haven't received it, please contact your local USPS with your tracking number, and have them open a case to locate your item.

Spilled Glitter does not offer no-charge replacement pieces or full refunds for items lost by the Postal Service. If you would like your item to be insured, and a replacement offered, please purchase postal insurance, or upgrade your order to priority shipping with insurance during checkout. If you choose Insurance, Priority Shipping, or Priority Shipping + Insurance, your item will be covered and a replacement offered.

PACKAGING

All jewelry orders are shipped in a plastic bag, and those larger or more expensive items may be inside an organza decorative bag, and then packaged for delivery. I highly recommend storage of your jewelry in the plastic bag to prevent tarnishing when you are not wearing your items.

Floating locket sets with charms and or dangles are shipped un-assembled to maintain the quality of the items during shipping. If your purchase is a gift and you would like your locket to arrive assembled, please message us in the "notes to seller" section and let us know - we're happy to put it together for you!

WHOLESALE & BULK ORDERS:
Please understand that we stock inventory for RETAIL purposes only. If you would like to place an order that includes 10+ of any item, PLEASE MESSAGE US FIRST to request a custom bulk order. We will work together to get you the items you need in a reasonable amount of time. Our store is not setup for or intended to be a wholesale supplier of the products we carry, but we are happy to help you get the items you need. If you make a purchase with 10 or more of one item without contacting us first to arrange a large order, your order may be rejected. An explanation will be provided, and an alternative solution will be offered for you to purchase and receive the items.

CUSTOM ORDERS:
I love working with customers to create unique handmade jewelry for that special someone or special occasion! Looking for a special piece for your wedding? Please email me with details to get the ball rolling!

JEWELRY CARE:
Some Spilled Glitter handmade jewelry pieces are made of sterling silver, 14k gold-filled (14k gold bonded over base metal), vermeil plate (24k gold over silver), or 14-18K gold. Any exceptions will be noted. I highly recommend storage of your jewelry in the plastic bag they are sent with to prevent tarnishing.

To clean your items, use a soft silver polishing cloth to gently bring back shine -- do not clean pearls or gemstones in liquid or expose to chemicals.
