Announcement   Welcome to my shop! I try to use British wools, natural fibres and organic plant dyes as much as possible in making my yarn, but I also like to incorporate a few synthetic fibres and colours to add a bit of fun to the spin. All my yarns are spun on my Ashford Joy in a cat friendly home in North West London.

This lanyard is even more beautiful in real life than in the picture. The wool is so pleasing to touch and the colours match my reading specs perfectly. It is comfortable to wear and now feels a part of me.

I bought a beaded handspun spectacle chain for my mum for her birthday. I placed the order on Friday and received the item on Monday which was brilliant! The spectacle chain was absolutely beautiful - even nicer than in the photo. Would definitely recommend :)

I make my yarn primarily to use myself for knitting projects, but I also get carried away with my dyeing and spinning experiments so have a growing stash that needs occasional weeding.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept payments directly through PayPal, and credit cards, debit cards, Etsy gift cards, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet through Direct Checkout/Payment.
Shipping
All items will be sent as soon as possible, but only after payment has cleared. I use Royal Mail First Class post, and try to stay as close as possible to the actual shipping and packaging costs. Any items sent overseas will be sent via Royal Mail Airmail and will therefore be non trackable, unless specifically requested, however the costs may be considerably higher.
Please note that international buyers are also responsible for taxes, duties or any other costs incurred in shipping the items to your specific country.
I protect the yarns in resealable bags, and mail them in soft plastic mailbags.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will always try to describe and portray my items as honestly as possible emphasising the hand made quality of each piece, and therefore the variances that may occur. I will treat each query or problem separately and on it's own merits, and would possibly consider a full refund if the item is returned in it's original condition.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do try to make my spectacle chains as secure and durable as possible by reinforcing the yarn with nylon thread, but the very nature of creating a lanyard using woollen or silk yarn means it is susceptible to breakage if handled roughly. I do not offer for sale any item that I have not previously tested for strength and durability.
Please be aware that I do not accept any responsibilty for any damage to spectacles caused by breakage due to rough handling or general wear and tear of the chain.
