Welcome and thank you for looking!

I want each painting I make to not only be beautiful and well executed, but to exhibit a high standard of craft and integrity.

There are a number of materials I use: Finished paintings which are on canvas, linen or specialty papers are mounted on hand cut panels using a combination of traditional techniques and modern best practices. Many works may be directly painted on prepared panels, wooden blocks or stretched canvas. I often prepare my own gesso in a traditional manner to prepare these surfaces. Every individual work has it's own necessities as to the texture of the surface, adhesion, absorbtion, 'flex' and so on.

I use high-quality, light fast pigments wherever possible, and protect the finished product with varnish. Still, it is a good idea to prevent long-term UV exposure of any artwork.

I find that antique or used frames. typically gold or silver leaf (but sometimes black!) with a bit of wear suit my paintings best. Some are very old, some are newer, but I've chosen each to suit my paintings specifically.

I collect my frames from antique malls, thrift stores, estate sales and so on, and spend considerable energy cleaning and otherwise making them functional again. However, I don't attempt to repair chips, cracks and flakes as these are what I find give them the character my paintings require - in fact, I often start a painting with a certain frame in mind.

I aim for an 'aged,' and sophisticated appearance so my paintings will look like they have been living on your wall for a hundred years. Of course, if you have a different aesthetic in mind, I offer all of my paintings unframed as well.

All work is done by hand, you won't find any assembly line, imported junk here. Please expect each piece to have a bit of character! :)

Each regular sized painting is signed with my monogram on the front.

However, miniatures are often left unsigned for aesthetic purposes (Please see the photos!)

Returns and exchanges
I will accept returns on undamaged items which do not meet your standards. Please contact me immediately if you have a problem with your purchase.

If you receive a damaged item, please retain all packaging and notify me promptly so that we can begin the claims process with UPS.
I accept payment via Direct Checkout or Paypal.

If you don't have a PayPal you can sign up for one here -> https://www.paypal.com/
I will get your item in the mail within the next 3 business days after the order is completed, unless there is some special concern to be taken for shipping ( a special request, or perhaps packing concerns for a very large painting ).

I will try to combine shipping, but this usually isn't possible as it isn't safe to stack framed paintings.

Please contact me before ordering if you have concerns about shipping.

Paintings can be very delicate things, and so I take great care when shipping them.

Miniature paintings, framed or unframed, as well as lockets and pendent paintings will all be packaged according to the needs of each specific piece.

Shipping is done via UPS.

Have something in mind? Let me know! If you see a painting you like, but it is no longer available, there is a good chance that I will be able to make a similar piece for you. It is my pleasure, especially as it will help me understand what sort of work people like the most.
