We specialise in creating unique and personalised gifts — whether it’s for a special new arrival or simply a sneaky treat for yourself. Nestled in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, The Nutty Squirrel is a small family business built on creativity, love, and a little bit of magic.
The idea began in 2014 after I was made redundant during maternity leave with my son. While adjusting to life as a new mum, I started making handmade items for him and soon invested in my first embroidery machine. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion, and before long I had the “embroidery bug” — stitching anything and everything I could get my hands on!
Life took a different turn when my son was diagnosed with haemophilia, a rare bleeding condition. He needed far more care and flexibility than a regular job would allow, and I wanted to be there for him every step of the way. Turning my love of embroidery into a business gave me the freedom to support my family while sharing my creativity with others.
With the help of my talented Mum, The Nutty Squirrel has grown steadily, with loyal customers and an ever-growing range of gifts. Each item is lovingly made with care, and many designs can be adapted to your preferred colours or theme.
