Hi, I’m Micah — the fisherman who’s allergic to fish.
Yep, you read that right. I’ve loved fishing my whole life, but since I can’t actually eat fish, I figured I might as well chase the biggest, toothiest ones out there. That’s how I ended up falling in love with musky fishing — go big or go home, right?

I started building lures over 10 years ago, long before Springy Tackle existed. What began as a hobby in my garage turned into a passion for crafting unique, durable, and exciting baits that anglers can rely on. Over the years, I’ve learned, failed, improved, and pushed myself to create better designs with better action and better results.

Today, my two signature lures — the Seeker and the Bite Size — represent how far this journey has taken me. Each one is poured, painted, and tuned by hand with the goal of helping anglers create unforgettable moments on the water.

But I’m never done growing. I’m always experimenting, testing new ideas, and trying to build something fresh and interesting for the fishing world. Springy Tackle is where that creativity comes to life — one lure at a time.
