The item (which is gorgeous) not only shipped all the way to Alaska in a timely manner, but I received a sweet hand-written thank you card and some complementary beautiful blank cards! I will totally order from this seller again. She has some really great paintings. :)

Laura did an amazing job on our painting! I was looking for someone to recreate a photo of the chapel where my husband and I were married for our first anniversary. Laura accommodated my request, and included our wedding date on the bottom for us. One of my favorite things about the photo was the beautiful sky, and she did a fabulous job replicating that in the painting. She far exceeded my expectations, and I am absolutely in love with the result. It is a perfect addition to our living room, and makes for a great conversation piece. I highly recommend Laura and her services!

A Fate Made in Paris

Art was passed down in the genes - my grandfathers were both craftsmen in different ways. Both were avid woodworkers, and my father's father had a gift for drawing that I see reflected in me. His old sketches of athletes hung around the desk at his house where I would doodle. And seeing them now, I can see my own style in a way.

I studied graphic design at college and designed for a few years, opening my shop at the end. Illustration had always been my passion, and to paint for a living is a dream come true.

My first trip to Paris was inspiring in so many ways, the art, architecture, the street style, and the food of course. Its spirit, of enjoying the luxury of each day, and doing the work that you truly love, compelled me to open my shop.

Painting has always been my favorite art form. It has the power to elevate an ordinary object to something cherished in your home, much more than a photograph does. A portrait idealizes a person, a place, in a way that Photoshop does not achieve. This is what fascinates me, and it is what drives what I do.

In 2012, I started offering more custom paintings, of houses, wedding cakes, large-scale backdrops for events, etc. When someone receives their special painting and is thrilled enough to shoot me a message afterwards, or show me a picture of it hanging, it is incredibly rewarding.

I love creating custom art, so if you have your own idea, please contact me about it. Wholesale pricing is available on prints, contact me with your needs.

Additional design work is also available, logo design, wedding invitations, business cards, etc. I am a graphic designer after all.

Watch for new listings, I am always working!

I began life as an artist, went down the path of graphic designer for a few years, and now paint watercolors. Fingers crossed, I will do this full-time soon! I am inspired by Paris, classic works of art, old movies, etc.
