Spun Cotton Balls are perfect to make crepe paper flowers
Simply brush glue on spun cotton shapes and add glitter for a vintage sparkly look
Spun Cotton Angel vintage ornaments (handmade from spun cotton peg dolls)
You can alter the shapes a little bit. Simply spray mist them, create a dent, and let dry.
You can paint them, use a pen, a marker, anything.

3 generations of spun cotton shapes enthusiasts

The Spunnys brand was started back in early 2012, by Nicolas Cocquerelle, in San Diego California.

But Nicolas's passion for spun cotton shapes had started long before this. It has run in his family for generations. Both his parents and grandparents were manufacturing spun cotton balls in France and Germany.

"To me, spun cotton balls and spun cotton shapes are the most amazing craft materials out there. They are so simple and yet there are so many ways to use them, they are so great at fostering creativity, and it's wonderful to know that they are just made of tissue paper and won't end up in our oceans".

"I am passionate about spun cotton shapes and would like to share my passions with as many people as possible".

Today, the SPUNNYS Etsy store has moved from California to France. Nicolas's family doesn't manufacture the shapes anymore but has retained close relationships with manufacturing partners in Germany.

We ship all over the world from our France location. We thrive to offer the lowest prices on ETSY - please do not hesitate to reach out to us if we are not. We never had a client who had to pay customs taxes and we have shipped to dozens of countries since 2012. As far as we know, cellulose paper products are normally not subject to customs taxes.
