What is so good or so joyous as for brethren to dwell together in unity. (Psalm 133:1)

With links to the Holy Mountain of Athos, the brotherhood of the monastery seeks to preserve the authentic tradition of Athonite monasticism––a life of repentance accompanied by the acquisition of God-pleasing virtue and illumination. Illumination then leads to the ultimate goal of deification or “Theosis”, a “oneness” with God.
