It took over three months to deliver, which I would have been fine with had she not ceased communicating with me. I cannot deny, however, how beautiful the pieces turned out.

Really cool piece from a fantastic maker, Erin went out of her way to get the piece finished and shipped to me in time for my friend's birthday. Great experience. I've posted picture of the TARDIS lit up, sent to be by the birthday boy - with a big Thank You.
Cause we are living in an arts and crafts world....and I am an arts and crafts girl!
Hello and welcome. Thanks for checking out my shop! I am Erin from the hip and upcoming town of Beacon, NY.
My mom started creating Stained Glass gifts when I was 5 years old in the early 80's. It was a great time for arts and crafts and I went to every show with my mom. When I was a little kid I had wished she was a toy maker....when I was a teenager I wished she was a jewelry maker. When I became a college student I thought....How can I make this Stained glass thing work towards my advantage? So daydreaming one day in English 101. I came up with idea of using mom's scrap glass to make funky mirrors and picture frames. What a smart Idea! I never had to get a job at an ice cream shop or retail store during college. I created my own business, with my own hours. I even entered the wholesale world and sold to 16 stores along the east coast.
After graduation "real" jobs and life sorta got in the way and creative time took a back seat. I was so happy to have found Etsy. It gives me a convenient venue to sell my creations. No exhausting myself EVERY weekend packing up the car. Now, I can pick the craft fairs that I really feel confident about. It also gives me a reason to keep creating. I'm always thinking up way to bring a unique product to ETSY customers. I think ETSY customers deserve only the best. Whether you buy from other crafters or me....each gift you buy is one less gift bought from Wal-mart. When you spend $20 dollars on Etsy you put half a tank of gas in an artisan's car, or you pay for a few days of groceries, or bargain movie date night. I'm currently using the money I make here to save up money to be able to take my 13.5 year old dog , "Sam" to the vet to see if I can get anything for the uveitis in his eyes. When you pay $20 at walmart....you help get rich people richer and support sweatshops over seas. Each time I make an item my thought process is that I want your repeat business...which is why I do my best to give you an accurate description of the item you are going to buy. No buyer's remorse here!
So please, look around, enjoy. I hope you find something in my shop....but even if you don't, please support an Etsy shop and spread the word about Etsy.
Thank you !

WELCOME to my Shop! I'm Erin and I Iive in the beautiful Hudson Valley. My specialty is stained glass, but due to my A.D.D. I also dabble in other crafts. Currently I am enjoying making Egg Shell Mosaic and Steam Punk inspired jewelry. ENJOY!
My goal is to bring some new life to Tiffany style stained glass art, by combining old methods and tools with new!
I am a second generation stained glass artist. I have been creating stained glass pieces for over 15 years.
My goal is to make Stained glass a bit more "hip" than it's reputation has been for the past 25 years. When I was a child I wished my stained glass artisan mom was a toy maker...as a teenager I wished she made jewelry. As a college student I was finally happy she was a stained glass artist, cause she had a bunch of scrap I could "create" with. I'm not big into patterns, but when I do use them, I make them myself...usually with the inspiration of a picture or photo of some sort. It takes a bit of work transforming them into a usable stained glass pattern and since I can't draw for anything, it takes me double the time ;)
I work with Spectrum glass as it is smooth and consistent in it's coloring, giving me the look I am going for in my pieces. Waterglass is my favorite for window panels, as its vivid colors shine in the sun.
