About

Glass Passion

How can I explain my passion for stained glass to you without sounding obsessed, in love, or crazy about glass?  Not sure if I can, but I’ll give it a shot.  While a senior high school, a whopping 10 years ago, I started learning how to do stained glass with the help of my mentor.  Every time I’d go home for a break in college, I’d trash my mom’s kitchen with another glass project.  Instead of getting excited about new clothes, it’s a new sheet of glass that does the trick.

I studied civil engineering with a touch of art in undergrad from the University of Dayton and got my MS in environmental engineering from the University of Oklahoma. I moved to Wyoming in July 2013 and have fallen in love with the mountains and great outdoors.  I work for the Town of Pinedale and spend the cold and dark winter evenings working on new stained glass projects, and if it’s nice out I’ll even work outside!

I have enjoyed expanding my imagination with my stained glass projects this past couple years with 3D designs, painting and kiln firing glass, and even starting my own stained glass business. Every project I’ve created is unique and made with love and care. Even with my glass supplier being based out of Denver (nearly 7 hours from me) and Band-Aids always plastered to my fingers, my passion for stained glass can never be broken!
