Shop owner was VERY helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I ordered as a present for my boyfriend and both he and I love the necklace. Highly recommend this shop!

Copper jewelry, like silver, is notorious for tarnishing quickly; however, it is very simple to clean and restore to its original luster. You can purchase a specialized cleaning solution, although these contain harsh chemicals that can cause damage over time. Two more gentle and quick alternatives are to use a dab of ketchup or to make your own cleaner using lemon juice and a little salt!
With either of these choices, be sure to clean only the copper part of your jewelry, keeping crystals, stones, stainless and/or silver parts out of cleaners.
For cleaning with ketchup, simply put a small dab of ketchup on copper piece and gently clean with a soft toothbrush. Rise the copper under flowing water. Dry the jewelry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth.
For cleaning with lemon juice, pour lemon juice into a small bowl or cup. Ensure there is enough to cover just the copper piece of jewelry to be dipped. Add a dash of salt. Stir the mixture until the salt is dissolved. Immerse the copper disk or square into the lemon juice and salt solution for a few seconds. Remove the jewelry from the cleaner and rise it well under flowing water. Dry the jewelry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth.
