Who knew that name labels can be so creative?
I've been selling the standard name labels in our sewing and craft supply store for many years now. Several years ago we decided to buy a clothing label machine so that we could print the labels on our own.
After we bought the initial label printer, I wanted to justify the purchase beyond the income that we generate from the simple name label. So I entered the online market and I let my creativity run loose.
First I added different, colors, fonts, and images to my labels to provide lots of different choices. Next I constantly use my creativity to market my product and find my customer base. Now we have several machines to produce the different types of labels that we currently sell.
Our customers are a diverse bunch; parents and seniors buy them to identify their clothing, crafters buy our "Made with love by..." for the handmade goods that they give away, entrepreneurs use customized labels to brand themselves. We've sold to resorts and bed and breakfasts, medical facilities, colleges, a linen rental company, even an apparel manufacturer that offered many different styles and choices that needed to be identified.
My favorite customers are..... I'm stuck between the crafters and the entrepreneurs.
Crafters... each and every handcrafted item that you create symbolizes a labor of love and a significant investment of time. I feel honored that you choose us to create your labels.
The Entrepreneurs....I'd be lying if I'd say that I don't feel a kinship to you. You only reached this point by using a combination of creativity and hard work. I love working with the images and text that you send us to create a label that reflects your business.
