Check out the info below, to provide you with answers to some basic questions about payments, shipping and refunds.
HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT
"hello LOVER" loves Paypal! It's safe & super easy .
How it works...option 1...transfer $$ from your bank account to your Paypal account...or option 2...just pay with your credit card, no account set-up required.
If you prefer not to use Paypal, I also accept email money transfers.
Both payment methods can be sent to emilyarmstrong [!at] shaw.ca
WHEN TO PAY & CANCELING YOUR ORDER
Payments for purchased items are appreciated within the following 48hrs of the purchase date. If you're having issues with Paypal, please let me know and I will hold your item(s) for you until it gets resolved.
If you need to cancel your order prior to having made a payment, please let me know as soon as possible (preferably within 24hrs of the purchase date) so the item can be re-listed immediately.
Standard shipping is included with all "hello LOVER" orders. Alternative methods will only be used if paid by and requested by the buyer.
Flat paper items (ie: tags) will always be shipped standard letter mail. This service does not include insurance, so please convo if you have any concerns regarding delivery.
Basic tracking and insurance is included in all Standard Canada Post shipments for packages or parcels.
"hello LOVER" does not intend to profit on any charges applied towards shipping costs. All quotes for shipping are only to cover the actual cost of shipping and any materials needed to ship an item (ie: envelopes & bubble wrap...) Whenever possible, "hello LOVER" will choose to use recycled shipping materials such as packing peanuts, envelopes or boxes to minimize costs and help out our planet by re-using what we can. So if your envelope or package looks a little "up-cycled" when you receive it, now you know why :)
Shipping costs are calculated from the for the farthest distance. If the actual shipping costs ends up being lower than what was originally charged, a refund for the difference of anything over two dollars will be given.
I do all my shipping once a week on Saturdays. This saves me from making multiple trips to the post office, and also allows me to more easily manage my shipping schedule. Like anything, exceptions to this schedule can be made upon request....(example, you purchase and pay for your item on a Sunday and would like it to be shipped on Monday instead of waiting until Saturday for it to go in the mail).
Every item shipped from :hello LOVER" will be packaged to save you money and also to ensure that items arrive at their destination intact. Even though all items are carefully packed to prevent damage, there's also a third party involved in the whole shipping process and occasionally there are postal service mishaps (they are rare, but they can happen) This is what the insurance is for. If you receive an item that has clearly been damaged during shipping (or does not arrive at all), just let me know and I we will work things out.
DIGITAL FILE DELIVERY
All samples and proofs will be sent in JPG format via Etsy convo.
All final files will be emailed to the buyer's email address provided in their Etsy account settings.
Refunds and Exchanges
GRAPHIC DESIGN REFUNDS
Full refunds will only be provided PRIOR to any work starting on any customization.
Once work has started and initial samples have been shown, no refunds will be provided.
In some case, store credits can be offered but only under special circumstances - please convo for more details
Additional Policies and FAQs
Many listings in this shop are only digital reproductions (ie: invitations, signage etc.) This will also be indicated in each individual listing.
I do my best to take accurate photos that show as much detail in an item as possible, but understand that it's hard to tell sometimes exactly what an item will look like until you see it in person. Unfortunately this is all part of the game of buying and selling stuff online. I encourage everyone to not hesitate to email me if they would like more info on an item I have listed if they feel my description or photos are not enough :)
Please keep in mind that all computer monitors can vary in how they display colors. If you are uncertain about a color represented in the listing or description, please email.
