I pick what I love and I love what I pick!
I accept PayPal and all major credit cards.
Please do not click "other" payment unless I have instructed you to do so.
CT sales tax charged by law for in-state purchases.
Please contact me if you need your item rushed.
For a small additional fee, usually around $2.10 USD, I will purchase shipping insurance on your item- this protects it in case it gets damaged/lost during postal delivery. I will only do so if you ask before I ship the item.
I pack with new and/or recycled materials, including boxes, newspaper, bubble wrap, and magazines.
COST OF SHIPPING
I will ship to the U.S. using USPS Priority Mail with a tracking code or First Class mail, and when it is more economical, I may use Parcel Post. (Let me know if you have a preference). Books are shipped through USPS Media Mail. I will ship to Canada using USPS International Priority Mail. For other areas, please convo me for postage rates prior to purchase. I will then revise the listing for you to include your country.
All shipping excesses of $2.00 or more will be refunded to you.
Buyer is responsible for paying all customs fees- please be up to date on the current percentage of your country's custom fees prior to purchasing a good from me. I will not lower costs to account for customs fees (it's illegal!) - it is your responsibility to pay them.
DAMAGE DURING TRANSIT:
Start Talking Vintage is not responsible for damage during transit. I pack my items to the best of my ability to ensure that they will be safe, but sometimes accidents in transit do happen. If you receive an item that is damaged you are responsible to make a claim to the shipping carrier and I will do everything needed to help if contacted. No refunds will be made for damages made during transit.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do my very best to represent all items accurately and thoroughly. Refunds are issued only if an item has been grossly misrepresented on my part. If you are interested in an item, but feel you need more information or photos, please let me know! I am happy to answer any questions about an item or provide additional photos.
I am not responsible for damages or losses due to shipping. (If you would like me to insure your item with the postal service to protect from damage or loss, please do so before I ship your item. It is an additional fee for you). Packages will be safely wrapped to protect your purchase.
Because I cannot purchase delivery confirmation for international orders, I do NOT accept returns or issue refunds to customers outside the U.S.
I will only refund the items original cost, you will still pay both ways of shipping fees. Again, please contact me and we can work something out!
Additional Policies and FAQs
Please keep in mind that the item you are purchasing is vintage, so it may show some slight signs of wear and tear. Items are in good vintage condition and without flaws unless otherwise described, however, some small flaws might go unnoticed. Items are vintage and therefore mostly used and never are claimed to be perfect. Expect imperfections and character!
