The useful part of the rabbit hole—made for you.
I’ve often been told I’m a good gift giver. I think that comes from paying attention—to what someone likes, what they need, what makes them laugh, and where they are in life.
That habit extends well beyond gifts. I read too much, search too much, and am chronically online—which, for once, is useful. I rarely buy anything without comparing sources, reading reviews, and checking whether those reviews seem trustworthy.
State Your Being began with a simple idea: the things we choose can make everyday life easier, more expressive, or simply more fun. What we wear, give, use, and bring into our homes can say something about who we are. Sounds lofty for a shop filled with guides, designs, gifts, and the occasional odd little creation, right? It’s really not.
The State Your Being website is where I share useful finds, honest research, and internet rabbit holes worth passing along. This Etsy shop is the made-for-you part—where research, writing, and design become personalized guides, thoughtful digital pieces, custom gift ideas, printable creations, and occasional one-of-a-kind things I’ve made.
Some recommendations come from things I’ve used myself; others are discoveries I’ve researched carefully. I’ll always try to be clear about which is which and what you may want to know before deciding for yourself.
The point isn’t to persuade you to buy more. It’s to help you find what fits, spend less time starting from scratch, and make something feel a little more personal.
If it makes life easier, feels a little more like you, or gives someone a reason to smile, it was probably worth finding—or making.
Never Be Understated.
