Announcement   SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT: I am currently restocking my store. It should be back open by July 1st.

All Items are currently made to order. I have a 5-7 day creation/processing time unless otherwise indicated that its longer.

All items are made in the USA> Fantastical Menagerie: Jewelry and Accessories for the slightly askew. Populating the world with offkey and askew Steampunk art. Animals, gears, bright colors and decorative elements combine to form new worlds. I work mostly with polymer clay. I do some metalwork and beading, but the beads have to inspire me as much as clay does. My style is classified as Steampunk, which I feel has so much depth and character. I have been working in Jewelry since 2005, and with polymer clay since Summer 2011.

If you are ordering from outside the US, I am happy to ship to you. Please be aware that it may take a bit longer to receive your package, as customs can take anywhere from a couple of days to weeks to clear. If you need it fast please contact me before purchase. I can add overnight or express shipping for a fee, set by the post office.

I am happy to get ideas for custom pieces. I will try a lot of different things. However, if I don't feel I can do my best work, I will recommend another artist who can.
I do my best to ship out pieces in a timely manner. Sometimes the piece is not created beforehand. This could be because I was at a show, or someone just had to have it. Most pieces go out within two business days. My local post office has new weird hours- they always seem to be closed or at lunch when I drop in.

About Me

I am based just outside of Greensboro, NC. For those of you not from North Carolina, Greensboro is about 1.5 hours west of Raleigh. Called a small city, we are home to several malls, theaters, dozens of hotels, and plenty of Southern Barbecue!

My husband and I are the owners of two extremely demanding small dogs. I spend my spare time reading, collecting all manner of junk and dust catchers and making jewelry. My studio is a small nook in my entertainment room.

About

Jewelry and accessories for the slightly askew.

I have been creating jewelry on and off since the age of eight, when my grandmother gave me a box of antique beads and buttons. I took about 15 years off, and got into it again in 2005. I had been looking for something creative to do with my hands, and branched into jewelry.

I started out like every other person making jewelry in the last ten years- beading. I soon branched out into metalwork, and my newest love is polymer clay. I love the steampunk style, but reserve the right to add options at any time. I also love fantasy and crappy made for tv movies on the SyFy channel.

My philosophy is simple. I want to wear things that express individuality, and that I won't see on ten other people walking down the street. Why should I have to? If I feel that way, there must be more women who feel that way too. So I try to add that extra touch to all the pieces I make. My pins look great on hats, scarves, peacoats and jacket lapels. You can also find pendants, earrings, hairpins and other accessories in my store. I have since branched out into small clay sculptures. I love small things that just sit and look pretty.

My studio is very small. I have a small alcove in my upstairs media room (I say media room, you say junk room). I have some shelving, and an L-shaped workspace. Corkboards and hooks help display my pieces, and some artwork from khallion and musetap decorate the wall space I have left. I feel privileged to be surrounded by Whovian and Browncoat art while I work.

Steampunk Cellars specializes in jewelry and accessories for the slightly askew. I am proud to offer a variety of hand-made jewelry: from hand blown glass beads to semi-precious stones and pearls in earrings, necklaces, bracelets and watches. The materials are often determined by the desired design of the piece. If you don't see it here, feel free to email me and I can create a custom piece to fit your wants and needs. Lately I have branched out into polymer clay designs, and lean mostly toward a folksy, steampunk style.
