Blacksmithing forge from Ukraine
This online shop was initiated as a small family business by Maksym and Tetiana Mykhailichenko. Right from the start, we placed the quality of the product and service as the top priority and were delighted to see that, naturally, the Etsy store grew from 10 orders in the first month to 150 orders per month in 2021 without the use of advertising or promotion. We are immensely grateful to our customers who, through their trust and loyalty, have ensured the steady development of our business despite the challenges of the pandemic.
We are especially thankful to our customers for their tremendous support following the onset of the war in Ukraine. With the beginning of the war, Tetiana with children moved to the United Kingdom at the invitation of one of our incredible Etsy client. Throughout 2022, thanks to savings from previous years and the assistance of our clients, we produced tens of thousands of staples for the dugouts of the Ukrainian troops. It is thanks to our Etsy buyers that the safety and lives of many Ukrainian soldiers have been secured.
In 2023, Maksym finished his work in Ukrainian forge and joined his wife and children in the United Kingdom. Max and Tania are working on establishing a completely new forge in Winchester, Hampshire, UK. The Ukrainian shop is now being managed by their Ukrainian colleagues in Ukraine - Pavlo Levchenko and Volodymyr Sezko, they provide all stages of manufacturing of the product and sending it to the buyers. At this challenging moment, this is a vital lifeline for their families and a financial resource to help Ukrainian soldiers. We believe that our efforts will surely lead to victory; once again, thank you for each customer's contribution to our cause.
