We LOVE getting your custom requests! We can make nearly any print into the following : crib sheet; baby, toddler, adult blanket; lovey; nursing pillow cover; changing pad cover; swaddle; or incorporate it into a pieced blanket! We love love getting your ideas and inspiration and creating with you! A few things we do NOT offer - silk borders, embroidery, crib bumpers, buttons for paci attaching, twin to king size comforters, or pillow cases! We absolutely WILL add more ribbons to your lovey if that's your babe's thing. Always send us a message - we are happy to help!

Please wash in cold, regular cycle. High spin. We recommend using a gentle and phosphate free laundry soap. Air dry before use. Never iron minky or faux fur. Always be sure you feel your item is safe before letting your babe snuggle it.

A few laundry tips! After washing, I like to shake my lovey or blanket out, like you would shake a rug! Then I run my fingers through it, sort of to "fluff up" the fur. I let all my personal snuggly goodies air dry in front of a fan. I "finger fluff" them once more as they are dry, and ta da! Dry and super snuggly again!

I have put crib sheets, changing pad covers, or nursing pillow covers in the dryer on Low. Just not things backed with faux fur!

actual answer: Loveys are the perfect attachment item! Our loveys are 17x17 inches, made from high quality minky print and faux fur backing. They include one ribbon, triple stitched into the corner, for little fingers to touch and hold; or for easy attaching to the stroller so they don't end up lost at the Zoo! A Lovey is sort of like a miniature baby blanket - something for our littles to love and hold, but without the bulkiness of an actual baby blanket. We started making them seven years ago, with the idea that they can be thrown in the diaper bag, used on the go, and easy to hold and carry. They are the perfect size for babe to love on, without being overwhelmed by a large blanket!

Our packaging is simple and sweet. Wrapped in jute twine, with an info card attached that includes care instructions. We package simply for a few reasons - to reduce waste and to keep the cost lower for you! We would rather keep our product cost lower for you, so you can enjoy the product you order, not the packaging you'll toss.

Sales Tax laws have changed for e-commerce. Sales tax is automatically applied by Etsy where applicable.

Please use your best discretion when giving a Stella & Lu item to your babe, or using it around your babe. We always recommend following safety standards, and being aware of the risk of SIDS, and adhering to the advice of your pediatrician on care and proper sleep safety. Stella & Lu is not responsible for injuries sustained while using our product. Always, always be sure you feel any item is safe before letting your babe use it. Google "the ABCs of infant sleep" for some great safe sleeping info. Please use with supervision.

If your faux llama has been damaged due to mis-use or improper care techniques and is very stiff and creates "loops," we highly recommend no longer using the item. This is an extreme case!

We do not accept returns or exchanges. Our shop can create truly custom, one of a kind pieces. From print selection, backing selection, ribbon selection, and personalization; we cannot accept returns or exchanges. We are sorry!

Once an item leaves our shop, it is out of our control. We cannot control the postal system, and any delays or issues they have. We always recommend signing up for tracking text updates, & contacting your local PO if issues arise. We are here to help you contact the USPS & file the necessary claims with them, if needed, on lost, damaged, in transit, or packages marked as "Delivered". We will ask that you file the necessary claims with USPS, as nearly 100% of issues can be resolved by USPS as it is their conflict.

After 24 hours, we cannot make changes to your order. This is because if it is a custom order, we have already started the design process, or ordered your custom fabric. If it is a ready to ship order, its very likely we have already shipped it! Message us as soon as possible, within 24 hours, if you need to make changes or cancel an order!

When using the proper care techniques, listed in each description, our FAQ section, on each card and tag attached to the item - no. Your faux llama should remain nice and soft for a long time. We have several personal items in our household backed in faux llama that is one+ years old and still is soft as ever!

When using a gentle wash cycle, warm wash cycles, drying in dryer, or using a fabric softener - those are things that can harm the llama. And we strongly do not recommend doing those things.

Keep in mind, with each use and wash, fabric does have a tendency to change. Especially thicker piled fabric like faux llama or frosted fur.

The customer! We will ship internationally! The customer is responsible for covering the additional shipping costs, and any tax, customs, extra fees, etc. We are not able to estimate those fees for you, unfortunately! If you have questions about said fees, we recommend you contact your local postal office!
