Shipped quickly and was just as pictured, thank you!
A broken leg and boredom began the search for a craft project. After latch hooking, building doll houses and etching glass, someone suggested trying the scroll saw. The scroll saw turned out Christmas ornaments that friends and neighbors loved. Friends suggested selling the ornaments at craft shows. Charlie's Woodworking was born!
People at craft shows suggested selling the ornaments and other scroll saw pieces on the internet. As we visited craft shows it was suggested that Marilyn also sell her patchwork projects joining Charlie, and Charlie's Woodworking became StitchNSaw.
When we both retired, we became torn between volunteering activities and crafts. Crafting became seasonal around our other activities. We are very involved with our church. Charlie hunts in the fall, ice fishes in the winter, and enjoys fishing in the spring and summer. He also cuts down trees to harvest wood that is then cut and split to heat our home in the winter. Marilyn enjoys gardening - growing vegetables and flowers year round. She also volunteers preparing income tax returns (VITA) and handles the church archives.
We have been married more than 28 years and enjoy visiting estate sales, flea markets and tag sales. Some of the vintage items we sell are from downsizing our treasures, some are items found as we tour the sales in our area.
