Product with Dimension

I believe in a global oneness, where everything on Earth is intimately connected to everything else. We all share and are part of the same systems. Air we inhale and water we drink, which are essential to life, aren’t unique to one individual; they are finite resources we all must share. I endeavour in creating a natural cycle; natural products enter the land due to use, natural materials are harvested from the land to create more. It’s a push towards sustainable living. I’m convinced it’s time we wake up to our own personal impacts on the systems we use. To encourage a sustainable lifestyle is fundamental to living in balance with the bounty of Earth, that’s the passion behind my business.

Foraging the neighbours weeds and local Australian bush land was my cherished childhood past time. So it was only natural my favorite subjects in school evolved around earth sciences and human biology, which I explored further at The University of Adelaide. After moving to Alberta, I starting self-training in herbalism, now formally trained as Chartered Herbalism via a Diploma from the oldest Western Herbal College in North America. I’m currently studying towards Clinical training in Phytotherapy, a Diploma in Aromatherapy, and Holistic Pet Care. As an Amateur Naturalist, I’m always compelled to move my business toward a more sustainable business model. Each year I improve my already stella product line with the introduction of new products, or find ways to green up old ones. I’ve been running The Hedgerow for 5 years now. It all starting with a bag of Organic Flaxseed from a local farmer, some Herbs, an old T-shirts, a lot of love, and bunch of passion.
